I do not approve

November 25th, 2007

Ever since last Wednesday it has been cold.  Winter-like cold, temperatures in the twenties and thirties.  The morning of Thanksgiving we woke up to snow and although it was exciting for the children, I was not too thrilled and I’ve been chilled to the bone ever since.  It’s disgraceful, really.

I do not approve.  I want my summer back.  I keep thinking that last year on December 3rd the wind chill was eleven degrees.   December 3rd is less than two weeks away.

It’s going to be long, cold, dreary, winter.  Anyone in Florida have an extra room for my family to hibernate?  We’re good folk and I make a mean margarita.  I’d appreciate it.

Seriously, though… What the heck happened to fall???

The weather here is crappy today. I told Jake that it was icky and rainy and he asked if it was winter. I just said, no, it’s Ohio.

    This weather bites.

The grass is always greener on the other side. I would give anything to get out of Florida…it is still in the 80′s. It has been this way since April. I still feel the humidity and my daughter is still stuck in shorts. I have been in Florida for 9 years and I am so over the heat. There is no such thing as warm and cozy holidays with the a/c on. Turkey in the oven and kids swimming, not so much thank you.
