For the birds

By Beth

Back when we were landscaping, Sharon recommended planting winterberries.  And I listened and now my birds have something to eat during the winter and I have something beautiful to look at in the dead of the winter.

That makes me so happy.  You should always, always listen to Sharon.

That idea is truly heaven sent! So is your friend Sharon! Now I will plant them too so it’s the gift that keeps giving. People really DO need people, huh? Thanks for sharing your ideas and life!

    Take care!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that your photography is amazing. You were already good when you started taking pictures but somehow you’re capturing things differently and giving them more depth with your stories. It’s almost like your becoming a true professional photographer. How cool!

Dear Beth… I love you. I truly do. And I am humbled by your words… and by your winterberries. They give winter landscape the color of love! Barry and I recently planted 6 of them in our tiny backyard, and they are already giving us such warmth. Each time I look at them, I think of you… and I see through your exquisite photography how Mother Nature and God thinks of you, too. You have a magic touch… in all you touch!
    With much love,
    Sharon

We actually do our best to deter the birds from our house (I’m so paranoid of being underneath something that uses the air as its toilet) but those are very pretty!

I love the ideas of the winter berries. I’ve not ever heard of them. I want to plant some this coming up year. All the dead plants in the winter really make it depressing. I’d love to see them with the snow falling. Thanks for a great idea. I can always count on you.
