These pictures are SOOOOO freakin fabulous! It’s exactly what I thought of when I opened my back door this afternoon and heard the crackling sound of the icy branches in the wind…and when I looked at the little icicles on my patio table… I thought that I hoped BH was taking some amazing photography to capture this peaceful, beautiful moment in time. These are so perfect! Holiday hugs, JH

We passed frozen berries like the ones in your picture today, and Violet said we could make a smoothie with them. She has a thing for smoothies. And one of these pictures, I’m going to figure out where YOU live. I have it narrowed down to an elem. school district anyway :)

The berries look gorgeous covered in ice. It really was a beautiful day, minus my not having power for four hours. Even that wasn’t so bad, though!

We were in that same ice storm, and I loved it! I felt bad, because my daughter missed her Christmas party at school, but we had a FABULOUS day as well!

The winterberry photos are so wonderfully winter-ish, in a very non-traditional winter-ish. I love them because they don’t involve cardinals, snomen or wreaths. Love them.

And I just read your Patrick post and had to wipe away my tears from laughing so hard. Thanks. :)

I do miss the midwest ice storms — but only when it would happen and I didn’t have to go anywhere. Absolutely beautiful.

I think one of the best things about your gift with photography is that you help us to see beauty in the little things. I love how you focus in on objects or angles that would never occur to me.

Thanks for the pictures! You are so talented!
