Nothing of interest has been happening around here, just casual living and often thinking and occasionally laughing and sometimes drinking and hopefully sleeping and making cookies. And reflecting, too.

Early last week, my friend, Shannon, sent me the most amazing gerbera daisies. (my favorite flower) This bunch was truly stunning. The morning after I received them, I walked into my kitchen and the sun was shining through the window on these beauties. It was amazing.
I grabbed my camera and starting capturing their perfection.
These shots are SOOC. (straight out of camera, totally unedited, just raw, perfect beauty.)

My daughter used them for her wedding too. They are something lovely to look at on this cold, icey morning when I’m feeling sad because my morning class will miss their Christmas party with the two hour delay.

They are so lovely… yes, I do feel as though I can touch them. The colors are such a warm contrast the snow storm we’re having here in New England. I love snow. I love the gerbera daisies. I adore the combination!
