A giveaway for Chicago peeps!
ByI’m sure many of you have heard of the Yanni Voices concert tour, but for those that haven’t it’s a tour put together by Yanni himself, which also includes many other amazing talents, chosen by him.
At Blissdom, I was able to preview the show on a massive screen with the lights off and just the show itself on the screen at eight in the morning was enough to make me feel the excitement and get goosebumps all over my body. It was amazing. (to get a better feel of what this tour is, click here.)
I have two tickets to give away to the Yanni Voices concert in Chicago on Friday, May 29th at the Sear Centre Area WITH a Meet & Greet with the “voices” after the show.
Now, let me tell you that I have met two of the “voices”…they are very, very good looking incredibly friendly.
I’m excited to be able to offer this opportunity to someone for a great date night or a fun night out with a girlfriend.
What do you need to do to win? Just leave a comment telling me the last concert you attended!
You do need to live in the Chicago area, or at least be in the area on the 29th of May. Additional entries can be obtained by twittering about this giveaway and/or writing about this on your blog, just leave the link to your tweet or your post in the comments section. You do not need a blog to win.
Winner will be chosen on Monday, May 18th at noon CST.
GOOD LUCK!

The last concert I went to was the Doodlebops (twice in fact) and paid way too much money so my child could get to see them up close only for him to get there and say let’s go home! Yes, I know, it is sad!
Last concert was the Foo Fighters, back last February. High time for another concert!

My brother and his wife live in the Chicago area and her birthday is late this month. I would LOVE to surprise them with the tickets! I can’t put a link on my blog because I wouldn’t want them to see it. The last concert I attended was our annual TranSiberian Orchestra Christmas concert.
Gosh I think it was way back in like 2001 and I saw Brian McKnight and Mary J Blige at the Houston Rodeo. Man that was a fun night. I’d love to give these to my mom who’s in Chicago at that time.
this is so sad – the last concert I went to I was 8 months pregnant with my son . . . almost 8 years AGO!!!!!!!!!!
Downtown Chicago at the Vic (I think – I can’t even remember now) Harry Connick Jr – it was amazing!!!!!
Sears Center is literally a couple of miles from my house!!
The last concert I went to was in December…Behold the Lamb of God by Andrew Peterson and friends. It is an amazing show that tours in December each year.
This would be a little bit of a drive for us (we are in central IL on the IN border), but it is the weekend before our anniversary (June 1st) and we still haven’t made our plans yet!
No I am pathetic…New Kids on the Block when I was like 11. So, 20 so years ago!
I have NEVER been to a concert. I think my husband would like this. He speaks spanish. I dont really but it looks nice and Hoffman Estates is like 5 minutes from our house. I was looking at the website and on one of their cd’s they have the artist Lucero on there and that is what we named our daughter. We call her Lucy since it seems no one (American) has heard of the name Lucero.
If we won- this would probably be like the first time we have gone out in 2.5 years without kids. No kidding.
Are you going?
My last concert was when the Backstreet Boys came to the ravinia and I accidentally drank an entire bottle of Malibu while we waited in our lawn seats for 4 hours for the show to begin. They opened up with their first song, I got sicker than a dog and we all left, lol.

First, John Mayer and Maroon 5 was my last “grown up” concert. Funny thing about Yanni….Quite a few years back (when I was a single mom) I desperately needed a night out. My sister, accidentally, scored some Yanni tickets (she is a huge fan!!) and asked me to go. Hesitantly, I did…we ran into some people we knew and I was quite embarassed (stupidly, because they were there also…what was there to be embarassed about!! lol). Anyway, I LOVED LOVED LOVED this concert!!! I truly believe no matter what type of music you listen to, if you were to see Yanni LIVE in concert, you would become a fan!!! His show and music are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to win tickets and have a date night with the hubby!!!!
Hmm…the last concert I saw was at the Acquire the Fire event in Indy with Jeremy Camp, Unhindered & The Newsboys. Before that, was Dave Matthews Band most certainly.
The last concert I went to was Madonna, last October at the United Center. I brought my husband and kids and we had a blast!
When I was at Blissdom I waited in line to meet those two very attractive young men–not for the usual reasons–I wanted to babble at them about my son and how much he’d enjoy their singing.
And I still think my son would go nuts if he saw them perform. I think it’s so important to let boys know that it’s OK to be musical … there is so much pressure on them to be athletic and nothing else.
But actually, if I won, I’d probably try to buy two tickets so my husband and daughter could go, too!
The last concert I went to was at the Sears Center to see Duran Duran. In fact, it was the opening night of Sears Center and it was fantastic. That was some time ago though. I would love see Yanni in concert at the Sears Center! That would be amazing! Great Blog, btw
Pretty Please with Sugar on Top! I would love to see Yanni!
