Yesterday afternoon, after touring some of San Francisco by myself, without any directions from anyone, I decided I was very, very hungry. (and obviously, very, very pleased with myself.)
There are tons of places to eat around here, wonderful delis and quaint restaurants.
But I ate at Subway and had a chicken breast sub on white.
I know.
But I made up for it by stopping at Cafe Madeleine’s and indulging in this:

Made the boring sub totally worth it.

That looks totally yummy.
You only posted one picture of San Francisco and I’m already starting to feel homesick for the bay area… Oh well, Christmas will be here soon enough and I’ll get to go then!
you deserve a yummy dessert! i’m so jealous you are on the west coast, i’ll be there next week. happy mother’s day beth!
That’s looks amazing!
beautiful picture! looks like you are having fun. i heard sf is one of the most expensive places to stay. so you gotta save some money- might as well be on eating right? who can beat the $5 foot longgggggg. lol.
hope you have a great rest of the trip!
If you haven’t, what you need to eat is clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Fishermans wharf. Awesomest…I promise…You don’t even need to be in a restaurant, any one of the street vendors will do. REally.
I just remembered something you can do.
Go to the Ferry Building Marketplace.

There are some great vendors, but in particular I think you should go grab some of the best olive oil I’ve ever tasted over at McEvoy Farms. It’s incredible!
Wow! I think that was so worth it too!
OMG. Look at the Dagobert cake. I am DROOLING.
Wow, that looks so yummy. I’m glad you aren’t totally sticking to your diet. I hope you are having a wonderful time. Happy Mother’s Day!!
That dessert looks delicious. Mmmmmmm….
HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY! You are such a perfectly beautiful Mommy in every way, shape and form. Your love and creativity and wisdom touches and shapes each mom who visits you each day. You do more than CAPTURE… you CREATE moments for others that may otherwise pass without knowing. You are a gift and you are magic. You are laughter and you are wisdom… and I love you for how you touch the universe, and for how your children touch the universe. Each moment. Each day.
With much, much love, Sharon
Happy Mother’s Day.
And YUM!

Ummm, that looks so so so so so good.
