Tubes aren’t that bad … coming out of anesthia isn’t fun but after that it’s okay. I hated have to put those earplugs in for swimming and bathtime but it was worth it. My daudhter had too many ear infections too. And it’s scary because they can have hearing loss with each one.

Sorry to hear your life isn’t a smooth path right now. But I love on you just try to look for the bright side and hang in there. Something will give and it will get better. You’re being prepared or tested.

Maybe Brians tires were needing replaced, anyway!

Tubs/Adenoids – our son had that done when he was 3. I think you will be amazed at how fast RaceCar will feel better! If he wasn’t sleeping too good at night, he will be soon. And due to the drugs he will get, enjoy a solid day of Mommy Snuggle time, a rarity for a 5 yr old boy.

As for the tubes and adenoids, my 8 year old had tubes put in, and it was a blessing in and of itself, as my daughter was practically deaf before it happened, and could hear once it was done. Adenoids I hear aren’t a big deal, either. A lot of ear infections, yes? I’ve been there done that, I was a crying, nervous wreck when it happened, and she came out drunk-ish from the anesthesia, but she was fine, just groggy for a day or two. Racecar will be fine, honey. He will. And I know you will be, too.

My son has had 2 sets of tubes and his adenoids removed. Although it is hard to think about your child having surgery, he will feel so much better after it is done.

I am sorry about RC. Anytime a kid has to go under the knife- it is always a concern for us moms. Keep us updated.
