Sunday, while cleaning, I hung backpacks on door knobs like I usually do. It wasn’t until I had already hung his up that I realized he would not need it anymore for school.

The preschool backpack is now retired.
And he is now a kindergartener.

I can’t express to you just how sweet, loving and amazing he is. He is my best boy. And he graduated preschool today.

Congrats Racecar!!! My little man will be a kindergartener soon too. I cannot believe it is time but it is. Very proud moment!
Wowee! What a big boy now! How very proud you must feel, Beth!
Congrats on graduating Preschool, Racecar
He really, really, really looks like you here.
Congrats, Racecar
My middle man will be a Kindergartner next year, too – time certainly does fly when you’re having fun!!
Congratulations on this wonderful milestone! I love your photo of the backpack and sneakers… and then we scroll down to the BIG GUY in his white shirt and tie. Oh, so grown up and handsome and ready to take on the world. A new beginning for both mommy and Racecar in this self-propelling wheel we know as LIFE! Happy summer!
Awww…he looks so grown up!
The flying of time…it never ceases to amaze me. I love his smile.

He is precious! Don’t turn around…he’ll be graduating from high school when you turn back.

So … for the uninitiated, does this mean a new backpack for kindergarten?
What a happy, proud boy =) Congratulations to your precious kiddo!
You have one handsome little man there!
They grow up way to fast…
Oh, he is so handsome!! Congrats to your little boy!
Woooo Hooooo! Don’t blink though, I sent my oldest to kindergarten just yesterday and in the fall he will be a senior in high school and making his way towards graduation.
Oh, Beth, those pictures brought tears to my eyes. What a big, handsome boy. I cannot believe that he will be in kindergarten already, time sure does fly….
That is one handsome little man you have there! It goes all too fast, doesn’t it?? Enjoy your time together.
I think I’ve been spending too much time with you (just kidding–such a thing does not exist) because I kind of want to punch him for being so damn cute. And you for making such a cute kid. That tie is killing me!
DANG! he’s handsome!
Very handsome boy you have there!
I can’t wait for my daughter to enter preschool (she’s 17 months) but come to think of it, time flies and without me knowing she’ll be graduating College
His backpack looks like that? AJ’s has ductape holding the roller handles on, there is a huge hole in the zipper, and his lunch box has a large hole as well.
He is adorable, BTW.
How bittersweet!! He looks so handsome in his tie — congratulations, Racecar!
Look at the sweet young man. He looks so sharp in his tie!
His sweet spirit is so evident in your photos. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one where he doesn’t look that way.
He is so handsome! I love his tie. I did’t realize that our boys are the same age. Mine starts kindergarten in the fall too.
He is the sweetest little guy. He reminds me of my Carter. Congrats Racecar! You are so handsome.
What a sweet boy! Congrats, Racecar!!
so bittersweet, that growing up thing.
these moments are so full of emotion, aren’t they?
My youngest retired the “rest mat” last week and is on to 1st grade. Kindergarten and “big school” are great! Congratulations on your milestone.
Oh my goodness!! I guess I didn’t realize how old he is… he and Drew are the exact same age – how fun is that?! (Although, to be quite honest, I’m a little nervous for little boys and… kindergarten.)
I can relate my little one will be going to kindergarten when school starts in August. They grow-up so fast.
