I need to become superwoman in the next  few days.  The fact that I’m even considering having a garage sale this weekend is pretty much hysterical because I am not prepared to have one.  At all.

Not prepared=I have done NOTHING for this sale.

So, why this weekend?  Well, apparently, my neighborhood or at least a few houses in the neighborhood are having sales this weekend and after looking at my calendar, this is the only weekend that will work for us.

And I swear to God, if you were to see my basement you would be horrified at the amount of stuff that is down there.  I literally can not even work down there because it’s so full.  It’s that bad.  And it’s a full basement.

I have considered taking photos just to show all of you just how terrible it is, but it’s so bad that even I can’t share those details with you.  I can share the details of when the doctor vacationed in my vagina with a dump truck, but I can not show you photos of my basement.

The thought is causing me to hyperventilate.

I must unload some of this stuff and I love the idea of having a couple of extra hundred dollars to put towards some bills (and maybe treat my little family to Red Robin on Saturday night.  or maybe we’ll have Papa John’s.  I love Papa John’s…or maybe we’ll get some good Mexican food.  dangit, I love food.)

My agenda today:

-give the kids a bath
-go down to the basement and begin bringing items up to the office where there is space to get ready to sell  (so much for my tidy office.)
-make lunch
-go back down to the basement and work even more.  (p.s.  the kids are with me and they go through everything creating a huge mess which makes me yell.  a lot.)
-head back upstairs and take Racecar to his kindergarten checkup, which includes shots.  (yes, I vaccinate.  HOLLA!)
-my parents are coming over tonight to help Brian put new brakes on his car, I’m in charge of making dinner and dessert.  Luckily, I went grocery shopping last night.
-try to clean the garage at some point during the night.
-get my You Capture post up tonight.

The worst part of my garage?  THE SPIDERS.  (did I ever tell you about the time I was sleeping and I felt something crawling on my face and I hit at my face and fell back asleep and woke up the next day with a dead, thick spider in my hand? I pretty much hate that story.  You?)

The best part of my day?  Having my parents over for dinner.

My biggest challenge?  Trying to figure out when to sneak in a nap because naps are delicious.

Have I mentioned that my goal this summer is to keep my house clean ALL OF THE TIME?  No?  Well, my goal this summer is to keep my house clean at all time, which requires me to clean multiple times a day, but so far, the effort has been worth it.

SO FAR.

Also?  There is laundry in both the washer AND the dryer and in all of my hampers.

WHY AM I SITTING HERE ON MY COMPUTER?  Telling you stories?  On my nice comfy couch?  With a box of teddy grahams next to me?  When I should be working?

ugh.  Here I go.

(have you voted for me today for Best Eye Candy?  Why not, man?  I LOVE YOU.  Remember?)
(and  I posted over here today, too.)
