Missing post and good causes

June 4, 2009 | Filed Under Bloggityville, NWIP | 6 Comments

Earlier today  I wrote a post and posted it to my blog.  It took me a little while to realize that I was in the wrong blog and should have written the post in my NWIParent blog and not my I Should Be Folding Laundry blog.  Both blogs use Wordpress and I was sleepy and apparently somewhat senile, so there you go.

I know a lot of you were able to read it when it appeared in your reader and then it disappeared, I apologize, but it is over here.  I really want you to read it, I think.

I wrote about depression, the postpartum kind.  This is something that is important to me because I experienced it and also because someone I love is in the midst of her own darkness right now.

So, maybe go read this.  And feel free to share your story, your feelings, in the comments, if you’d like to.  I think she’ll be reading.

I wanted to tell you about Diane Birch’s new album, Bible Belt.  She has a really great sound, this week her album was released and with each purchase of her album, $1 will be donated to one of six organization.  (YOUR CHOICE!  March of Dimes being among the charities available!)

Also, you can add a Diane Birch widget to your blog and who ever raises the most money for charity through their widget by June 23, 2009, will win a FREE PRIVATE PERFORMANCE in the winner’s hometown! More albums sold means more money donated. Definitely worthwhile.  (and if you win, maybe you should invite me, k?)  Want to start sharing?  Go here.

Beth, I thought I was having another senior moment… :-) lol

it was a great post…and when you wrote these lines…

“And the heartbreak, oh my God, the heartbreak”…I just sobbed and sobbed…

I hate to say this, but I am almost 60 years old and those moments still come, I am afraid, from time to time…

but when I look back over those almost 30 years of child raising the happier ones way outweigh the heartbreak ones… :-)

just keep this in mind…and those happy ones help you to survive the others…

    Sincerely,
    Paula

  2. I wondered why it showed up in my reader, but then I thought you just had some really fancy technology that allowed all the places you post to to be condensed into one feed or something!
