I am home.

I have to give a huge amount of credit to my husband because he cleaned much of the house while I was away.  I admit (and Brian should, too) this is not something he typically does.  But he did it and the house needed it desperately and then I arrived home and dropped my 79 bags from Blogher all over the kitchen and he’s all “I think I hate you.”

Except not really because I can tell my family is so happy to be back together.

I may have to write a blog post everyday for the next two weeks to cover my thoughts about Blogher (both good and bad.)  But I’m hoping to do it in a way that won’t make you come to my blog, see another Blogher post, you groan and sigh heavily and then you leave and eat some teddy grahams.

(I would not blame you on the teddy grahams.)

One of the absolute highlights was attending the SocialLuxe Lounge where they announced the winners for the BlogLuxe awards.  It was an awesome party, very well organized, great food, delicious desserts, fun music, entertainment, great swag and then there was also the awards, which were um…you know, my favorite because:

I won, man.

It sort of felt like I was at the Academy Awards when they announced my name except not really because you know, my hair was frizzy, my make up was dripping, I was wearing flats and I couldn’t find Brad Pitt anywhere.  But I’m pretty sure this was better just BECAUSE I SAID SO.

So, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you who voted for me and cheered me on and love on me on a daily basis.

I wish I could express to you how overjoyed I am.  Not because I won but because you come here each day.
