Last Friday, she learned how to ride a bike.
Her first loose tooth is so loose, it’s hard for her to eat.
Today, she set her alarm clock and her brother’s alarm clock for school tomorrow. She also showed him how to use it. All without any instruction from her parents.
And tomorrow she starts first grade.
I can barely keep up.

Tell Anna and Noah I said to have a great first day and I’ll miss them.
Sooo cute! She looks so grown up and she looks so much like you.
I hope they both have a great first day of school
Wow – first grade! Congratulations to you mama. It’s quite a milestone.
What a great big sister.
Alarm clocks?? Oh that makes me heart ache… alarm clocks are so grown up.. she’s just a baby.
I’m so sorry your kids have to grow up..
Every time I see a post like this I am reminded that my baby isnt going to stay a baby for much longer.. And that makes me very very sad…
On a totally unrelated field.. How do you fell when people says Ariel.. I mean Anna looks just like you? I always wondered about this before I had kids and having a girl scares the crap out of me for that reason. I obviously have issues with myself and I wonder what it would be like for someone to say that my baby was a spitting image of me. I almost wonder if I would cringe everytime. Wow. .this is coming off as possibly being really rude and I in NO WAY mean it that way. I think you are beautiful and Anna could be a model. She takes me breath away. But I know you dont have the highest self image either.. So what is your gut reaction when people say that??
sweet, beautiful anna! hope she LOVES her new class and teacher and big-2-wheeling independence. i know the house will probably feel too empty today, but hope you enjoy THEIR enjoyment of all this. what a blessing to continue to watch them grow.
I have a rising first grader too. Just doesn’t seem right. Good luck to both of you tomorrow.
She’s beautiful! I bet she’ll love first grade
Aww, how awesome!! She’s showing him the ropes! They grow up so fast!

They change so fast, and blinking can cause you to miss it. Boo just lost her 4th tooth, and I can remember less than a year ago her loosing her 1st. Such a milestone!
My oldest is supposed to start on the 31st… “supposed to” because I’m seriously considering homeschooling. He has to change schools this year and with the bus ride to and from, he’ll be gone almost 8 hours every day! 8 hours away from home at six years old?? Not sure I can handle it.
Also, I recognized that fabric of her shirt right away as I have the same pillow case in my sewing stash just waiting to be turned into something cute. That shirt is VERY cute!
Oh her shirt looks so cute on her!!!
I guess I never really realized she is the same age as my Emma. So strange and so wonderful. She is just darling…but you know that
Incredible picture. Her hair is glowing and what beautifully soft brown eyes.
Nell
they grow up so very very fast.
They look great!
Today, she set her alarm clock and her brother’s alarm clock for school tomorrow. She also showed him how to use it. All without any instruction from her parents.
Oh Beth … my sixteen year old still hasn’t mastered the alarm clock. Do the victory dance and pray for me, please. Haha!
So sweet and so adorable! What a big girl!
