Giveaway is over! *WINNERS* Lindsey & Helen! Congrats!
***
I feel so lucky to have been sponsored by Snapfish for Blogher – I love the company and their products and it’s all focused on photography, which makes it double (triply? quadrupally?) awesome. (leave me alone, I’m allowed to make up words.)
As if them sponsoring wasn’t generous enough, they are hosting two really cool giveaways for my (beautiful and friendly) readers. (that would be you.)
So, let’s cut to the chase.
Today I am giving away a $35 gift certificate to Snapfish to TWO LUCKY READERS. Have you been to Snapfish lately? You can buy A LOT with $35. Cups, post cards, PRINTS, calendars, it’s a DREAM OF A GIVEAWAY, if you ask me.
What do you need to do to win?
THAT’S EASY.
Just leave me a comment telling me one of your favorite moments of summer so far. Maybe you went on a picnic with your family or you sat alone on your front porch and watched the storm clouds roll in. ANYTHING. Just tell me about it.
The winners will be chosen randomly, so please do not say PICK ME because that, my friends, is annoying.
But wait, you can gain other chances to win, here’s how:
*tweet about this giveaway and leave the link to the tweet in a separate comment.
*blog about this gvieaway and leave the link to your post in a separate comment.
*post about this on Facebook and leave the link to your post in a separate comment.
Wow. That’s a lot of chances to win.
The contest ends Thursday, August 13th at 9:00 pm CST.
Good luck and special thanks to Snapfish!

My favorite moment thus far was randomly placing our tent in the backyard and playing for two days straight. They were so delighted. And I was delighted by their delight.
(Least favorite moment: LB’s concussion. Sigh.)
I love Snapfish! We got all our prints through them.
We have had a busy but still lazy summer. The kids are playing, we are getting our new yard in order and playing with the puppy. It has all around, been a wonderful summer.
Thanks
Last night was my favorite moment of summer. It was my husband’s birthday, and every year around this time is the Leonid meteor shower. My husband and I went outside and layed down on a blanket and watched the stars. It was so lovely, just laying there with my true love, listening to the frogs and crickets and watching shooting stars. Can it get any better than that?
My favorite moment so far this summer was sitting on the porch at the house we rented in the Georgia mountains. I was enjoying a glass of wine and my husband, his coffee. We were watching the sunset, talking, and listening to the kids cracking up over a game inside the house. I wished some roving photographer could have captured the scene. But it’s still in my memory so that’s how it’ll be.
My fav summer moment was this morning…sitting outside on my patio with Jackson & Owen eating our breakfast…life can be so simple sometimes.
My favorite thing this summer was to see my 10 month old enjoy the little inflatable pool we got her.
She absolutely loves water and being outdoors so the combination of those makes her jump and scream with joy.
All the outdoor concerts and beach trips.
Spending a long weekend with friends from college – including my new God-daughter! I took over 600 pictures that weekend… wonder how I’ll get them all developed?
My favorite summer moments have been watching my two little boys enjoy the warm weather running through the sprinkler!!
My uncle recently passed away (not my favorite moment) but he was one of the funniest people on the face of the planet. When us cousins all got together the night before the funeral we couldn’t help but celebrate his life by doing things Uncle Terry would have loved himself- hanging out at the local bar playing butt darts, plugging quarters into the jukebox, telling stories in his memory, and toasting to life and Terry. Losing someone is never easy, but the way Terry lived his life and the celebration he planned for his death gave us the perfect farewell- for now.
Watching my 6 year old son jump waves (and punch them with his fist… must be a boy thing) in the shallow waters of Lake Michigan.
One of my favorite moments this summer was taking our first real family vacation to St. Louis. The girls are old enough now that I am sure they will remember this vacation for years to come. Hopefully the memories will be good ones.

My favorite summer memory so far was my baby brother’s 2nd birthday party. We attempted twice with catastrophic results (my dad had a heart attack one day and the little guy had to have stitches a couple days before our second attempt!)… but the third try was the perfect blend of chaos and things working out just right. And I (the party planner) got some time to just sit and enjoy!!! (Oh, and he LOVED my gift – that’s always a plus!)
