This was a good challenge, don’t you think?
I had lots of fun. I captured my new fall purse/bag. (Target $12.99)

and I captured lots of fall-ish items while on our trip:

This next one is my favorite, it was captured while Brian was driving. There is a span in Indiana where there are hundreds, probably thousands of these wind turbines. I love watching them as we drive.
This photo IS FALL to me.

Now it’s your turn to share.
To read the rules, GO HERE. (seriously, if you’ve never participated, just hop on over and read these real quick, k?) (I’m a link deleter when necessary!) (which is annoying because I hate deleting links but sometimes I have to and that makes me so sad.) (not only do I delete links but I also love parenthesis.)

The color red.
Happy capturing!

Love the bag. LOVE the purple berries! I want to wear them, such a beautiful color!
I am such a bag whore, but I adore the purse. Love it!
Great captures Beth!
OOh, I love you fall purse
Lovely shots, especially the last one!
LOVE that new purse! Too cute! Love participating in the weekly challenges. Second week in a row for me!
[...] You Capture – Feeling like Fall Posted on September 30, 2009 by Thea @ Im A Drama Mama I am just ITCHING for the leaves to change. We are starting to see hints of red, but nothing major yet. So how else do I see signs of fall? [...]
I think I know that turbine field. If not, we pass one just like it on the way to Illinois. I think it’s so peaceful.
I love those berries.
First, I NEED that purse. Second, I LOVE that last shot! Third, I NEED that purse.
I love your purse. But the wind turbines are so cool. We have some in WI that my boys love to drive past when we go up north!
I love the bag!!! Have I mentioned that I love the You Capture challenge? I look forward to it each week. Your photos always look so crisp!!!
Is it just me, or does it look like that fern leaf is totally doing shadow impressions on the pumpkin. “Hey guys! Look. If I put my leaves together, I can do a feather! See?”
No? Just me? Okay, sorry. It’s late and I clearly should be in bed instead of commenting unsupervised.
But just one more thing. Love the purse. And love the You Capture challenges. So fun!
The purple berries are my favorite. Love that deep dark splash of purple!
Nell
Your favorite might be the wind farm and it’s good but I love, love, love the purple berries and the pumpkin with the fern leaves and fern leaf shadows. I think both those pictures are sensational! Nice job AGAIN!!!

I love the shadows on the pumpkin! Of course, also the purse, berries…everything. I’m really looking forward to visiting and getting the Fall feeling…this is such an amazing time of year!
See, now YOUR pumpkin picture blows mine out of the garden. Fern shadow on pumpkin. Awesome.
That last picture is gorgeous and full of fall thoughts! PS…does the bag come in any other colors?!? Love it!
adorable purse!
Beth! Your photos are always spectacular! Thank you for your time and dedication to us, even when I know that you “should be folding laundry!”

That last one is amazing. Being from the north I’ve never seen anything like it!
I love that bag!! And that last picture is absolutely gorgeous!
Great shots of course! cute bag! And, being from Indiana myself…I find your last photo fascinating. I love going up north and being able to see those. It’s very neat!
Oh, I wish we had a Target. Love that bag!
Gorgeous photos, Beth!
I just got the 50mm f/1.4 I rented, I must get out and use it today!
I love that last one!!
Steph
love the purple berries.
When I drove through that part of Indiana this summer, I almost wrecked the car several times staring at those wind turbines. I Love staring at them. Unfortunately, they weren’t there when I was at Purdue, or I would have spent a ton of time driving up there to stare.
Your photos are lovely. (As always. You take beautiful photos.) But I have no idea why my link double posts each week. It started doing that since I’ve to be posting from work. I even made special efforts to NOT double post this week, and it did it anyway. I don’t know why. I swear I’m not a total moron and I’m not doing it on purpose. I just don’t know how to fix it.
Great shots! I’ll look for the bag when I head out to Target later
Looking forward to a great fall tour clicking around to the other links…hope some of you will stop by to say hi at my place!
Love the Last Picture.
Me and my mom just took a weekend trip at the beginning of September and at the border of NY where we live to PA where were visiting I saw Tons of these Windmills, I wanted to take a picture so badly but I was driving so that was not quite safe.. Next time I am pulling over. Great Picture!
How clever of you to post a purse! I would have never thought of it, but it is one of the best of the bunch! I love playing You Capture. Thanks for the great meme.
Love the purse photo! How clever.
That second photo – the light, the colors, the textures. Wow! It’s really beautiful.
LOVE the wind turbine pic! Did you add texture to that one at all? If so, which one(s)? HOW? I’m still such a novice with Photoshop…
Beautiful bag! And those wind turbines are cool! We saw them too coming back from Indy and my husband Googled it – it’s from BP, an alternative energy plan. And they are so cool! There were so many I couldn’t stop staring at them.
Georgeous pumpkin too!
Hope you’re feeling better!
What a cute bag! Lovin the pumpkin.
I LOVE that purse! Cute, cute, cute!
The purple berries really pop…i love seeing the depth in your photographs!
It never occurred to me to have a bag just for fall. You have inspired me!
Ack! I hate those fields. They give me the willies. I just expect them all to transform into some seriously sinister Decepticons.
Honestly, for the entire half-hour/hour that it takes to drive by them, I just stare straight at the dashboard (or my book) and try to ignore them as much as possible.
But I’m glad *you* like them…
LOL!
I want that purse. The end.
Love the shots, very fall.
And I’m so copying you and getting that purse!
Great shots! Great bag! Gotta love Target.
I know it’s been said, but that purse is adorable. And I love the way you shot it. Thanks for the challenges!
