Did you drive around this week and realize how much red there is on this earth? Isn’t it just the most beautiful splash of color, particularly in the bleak, winter months. Even STOP signs become interesting in winter, all thanks to the color red. (I realize I’m dwelling on winter when it’s barely fall, let’s just say I’m filling up with dread already.)
I have a deep love for the old barns in Indiana. Sunday I drove around the country roads and found a beautiful, old, red barn. I love it. I see a print for my wall in the future…

Let’s see what you captured!
To read the rules, GO HERE. (seriously, if you’ve never participated, just hop on over and read these real quick, k?) (I’m a link deleter when necessary!) (which is annoying because I hate deleting links but sometimes I have to and that makes me so sad.) (not only do I delete links but I also love parenthesis.)

Still life.

Happy Capturing!

I love old barns! My husband and I had our engagement pics done at an old {and slightly condemned} barn
Great shot…your photos bring me a sense of calmness. That would be a beautiful shot for a kitchen!
I love that barn. I’m also filling up with dread about winter, and I hate it. I want to enjoy fall, but I wish spring was next!
I love your barn! It reminds me of visiting my sister in central PA–lots of old barns there, but a rare sight in Hampton Roads VA…
Beth, this is gorgeous!

Is there anything more classic than a red barn? Great pic
Beautiful picture Beth!
How beautiful is this! I’ve always wanted a red barn… maybe not this old but a red one for sure. =)
I love that shot of the barn. I love barns as well so it really struck a happy place in my heart. Great capture.
Love that barn. The stories it could tell. I wonder how old it is?
Thanks for continuing to challenge us weekly!
Love the red barn!! Beautiful shot!

I love the barn shot…Fall is such a gorgeous season…too bad winter comes right after it.
I’m starting to love barns, too, now that i see them much more often. But every time I saw a red one this week, I didn’t have my stupid camera!
As a Wisconsin girl, this is a familiar site to me.
I love it. And I hope you’re hanging in there, lady. Prayers are with you.
That is beautiful!
The link isn’t working for me…unless “sorry no posts matched your search criteria” IS the rule?
I’d love to participate!
I love your barn pictures! They always make me feel nostalgic for a place I have never lived.
The colors in that picture are striking.
oh wow, that is gorgeous!
I love barns! This weekend I’ll be driving around WV looking for more to add to my collection! Makes me want to move to the country… at least for a little while!

I love old red barns. Your photo is awesome!! I love how the little splash of red on the silo ties everything together! My first entry linked back to your post – ooops!
Beautiful photo! I love old barns too, very nostalgic..
I saw your barn photo and an audible WOW escaped my lips. That’s take-your-breath-away red, if I ever saw it. Gorgeous photo!
This is a gorgeous shot! Please put it up on your print shop site!
Oh I love that barn! I have a thing for red farmhouses, and barns…

I just love the red barn… so beautiful
I love old barn pictures, and yours is magnificent!!
I wish there were more old barns around my neck of the woods! They have such character and history. You just know there are tons of stories that go with every barn. Great, great photo!
Beautiful – oh so beautiful, Beth.

I love this photograph, I love old barns.
There is an amazing red barn about 30 minutes from here and I wanted to shoot it, but sadly I have been too sick to go anywhere. I will live vicariously through your red barn.
Red barns are one of my favorite subjects. Well done.
That is one fabulous barn photo. I can easily see a large print of it on your wall, too. Very nicely done AGAIN!
Mmmm…has a nice glowy feel to it too! Great capture – it would make a nice wall print (so I hope you do it!).
That barn is so cool! That photo would make a great one to copy and make into a painting too. Love it!
I keep forgetting about You Capture. I’m a a doofus, I know…
I adore red, but it really isn’t easy to get a photo with a good bit of red in it! I have lots of pictures to share, however, because I’ve been tracking down red stuff for a while.
And I love your red barn!
just want to let you know i’m thinking about you and saying a little prayer for you at this very moment. much love.
Love the barn! You take amazing photos.
[...] Little S and I drove around Downtown Pensacola to spot all things red. This is the theme over at I Should Be Folding Laundry’s You Capture this week. We had so much fun on our little scavenger hunt! Pensacola is technically the oldest [...]
What a gorgeous barn! I love seeing old barns like that-they remind me of my grandmother who would paint old barns exactly like that one. Thanks for the memory!
After a long day traveling to Las Vegas, I’m finally getting my post linked up!
Love this shot, Beth!!! I wasn’t able to participate this week & was so bummed because I had the perfect shot planned out in my head. My Dad made us some Adirondack chairs & I just finished painting them red this week. I was without internet yesterday & now it’s raining – A LOT, so no pictures for me!
I love this.
The red colour is gorgeous. I love the streakyness and the way it contrasts against the sky.
I also adore the glowey green of the vegetation in the front.
Beautiful! I would print that too!
OH MY! This one would DEFINITELY find a place on my wall!
Simply GORGEOUS!
Oh, how I love old barns. They are so peaceful, and you truly “captured” this one. Frame it and sell it! (Like.. a lot of them.
)
Gah! It’s my first time, and it shows – hosed up my link! I’ll put up the right one, please feel free to delete my wrong one! Sorry! Thanks!
gah! i messed up my link — copied it but rather than pasting it i just entered my url. will try in the morning AFTER my coffee. sorry!
I love that red barn! Old barns have always been something I’d like to photograph, but just never have gotten around to.
