Flu
BySo, it’s the flu. The flu is in my house, despite all of us being vaccinated (h1n1 and otherwise), our best efforts of hand cleaning and sanitizing, the flu is here, in our chests, our heads, our bodies.
Anna will be out of school for the rest of the week. But I do think she is feeling better, because right now she is playing the drums for Rock Band. (PROGRESS! especially since she woke up vomiting today.)
The tightening in my chest, the sore throat and the cough started for me last night. My OB has called in Tamiflu, which I need to pick up sometime soon.
But for now, we rest. We rest like we’ve never rested before. Which I need to do before it’s Noah’s turn at the flu.
I’m going to take a nap and then eat some of the soup Stephanie just dropped off on my doorstep.
It’s funny how feeling loved can instantly make you feel better a little bit better.
I really do think love is the best
medicine. Well, next to alcohol, anyway. It’s hard to beat a good margarita.
I hope all of you feel better soon. I am SO sorry you’re having to deal with this. Take care of yourself and get out and get that Tamiflu!!!

Hope you all feel better soon! It does seem about impossible to avoid this season. I tried my best as well with sanitizing and avoiding stores and such but we all ended up with it a few weeks ago anyways. Luckily, it was mild for us- hope the same for you all!
BB and I are just getting better while LB just came down with the fever tonight. I will be saying some extra prayers for you as you have to deal with the non-breathing WHILE pregnant. (I also had the flu, non-H1N1 obviously, while pregnant with one of them. Ugh.)
