So, it’s the flu.  The flu is in my house, despite all of us being vaccinated (h1n1 and otherwise), our best efforts of hand cleaning and sanitizing, the flu is here, in our chests, our heads, our bodies.

Anna will be out of school for the rest of the week.  But I do think she is feeling better, because right now she is playing the drums for Rock Band.  (PROGRESS! especially since she woke up vomiting today.)

The tightening in my chest, the sore throat and the cough started for me last night.  My OB has called in Tamiflu, which I need to pick up sometime soon.

But for now, we rest.  We rest like we’ve never rested before.  Which I need to do before it’s Noah’s turn at the flu.

I’m going to take a nap and then eat some of the soup Stephanie just dropped off on my doorstep.

It’s funny how feeling loved can instantly make you feel better a little bit better.
