I really wanted to, but gave in and the farther along I got the easier it was. I had a c-section and the doctor pulled the baby out and a few seconds later announced "It's a boy!"...it was awesome! So awesome that now I am 21 weeks along with our 3rd and have no desire to find out until the birth...yes, it would be cool to know if it's a girl because I would go crazy shopping (our house is all boy and John Deere!), but it was so fun not finding out that I don't feel anxious about it at all. Plus, in our family anyway, there's not quite the same air of excitement about the third pregnancy as the first, so it gives you something to keep everyone waiting for :-) We found out with our first, a boy, but my husband was adamant about not finding out with our second. Hubby and I have talked about NOT finding out the sex of our third when that time comes. We have found out for the first two, and we have one of each, so why not?! I didn't find out for either of my children and it was the best thing. We had a boy first, I was sure that the second was a boy through the whole pregnancy, but she was a girl.
