You Capture – Food.
ByOh food, sweet, beautiful , delicious, usually fattening, glorious food.
I didn’t realize how much I wrote about and tweet about food until this past week and man, I really do like food, don’t I? But how can I not? It’s SO DELICIOUS.
On the photography front, I have been working very hard over the past year on not just photographing food but using the natural light in my kitchen (even at night time) which has not been easy. I’m still working on it but I feel like I’m getting better.
I’ve been baking like crazy this past week, I’ve made 19 trays of cinnamon rolls, peanut butter bars and pumpkin cheesecake, just since Friday…much, much, more tomorrow.
The sweet ingredients…

oh yeah, baby.

buh buh buh buh buh

And the pumpkin cheesecake before it heads into the oven, which is where it’s at this very minute!

Now’s it’s your turn to share!
But first, the rules and look! An official You Capture page! YAY!

Yum…Yum…Yum…those cinnamon rolls look amazing!! I also like all of the Pampered Chef you are using!! I hope you and your family have a happy and yummy Thanksgiving!!
Mmmmmm…cinnamon rolls…
I recognized the Pampered Chef items, too! I’m a former (failed) consultant…failed because I spent more on products for myself than I actually earned!
I’m looking forward to participating this week, but know my family will think I’m nuts when I’m pointing my camera at the food tomorrow!
Mmmmmm…cinnamon rolls! I recognized the Pampered Chef items, as well. I’m a former (failed) consultant — in the six months I did it, I spent more on products for myself than I actually earned! I love their products!
I’m looking forward to participating this week — although I know my family will think I’m a bit nuts when I’m dashing around photographing the meal tomorrow!
Wonderful photos as always! And how on earth do you get so much done when you’re pregnant? You are Superwoman!!
I’m allergic to cinnamon but the photos are lovely.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow….wonderful photos! I want to visit your house for Thanksgiving
I have been reading all about those cinnamon rolls on twitter and now the pictures! GAH! I want some.
AGH! I’ve been hearing about the cinnamon rolls all week on Twitter – now I know why. The pics are awesome.
I’ll be eating the pillsbury ones tomorrow morning. But I do have a loaf of homemade zuccini bread too. And mimosa. And Irish Coffee. oh yeah!
As always, I look forward to seeing the other entries!

I was just thinking the other day that there is no better taste than sugar and butter fresh off the hand mixer after they’ve been creamed together.
And seriously? With the cinnamon rolls?

Those cinnamon rolls look so good! That’s our Christmas morning tradition, actually. I can’t wait to dig into some of them.
There’s no light at all in my kitchen. So, to make up for the poopy pictures I put the recipes up with them!
Happy Thanksgiving girls!

Do you ever comment on other peoples captures?
Your food photography is beautiful. I’m also a natural light photographer and this week this meant getting out my tripod to get the captures for the post I’ve linked here. But it isn’t just the natural light, it’s also the angles. I think food is quite difficult to capture well, so that it looks inviting, and your captures here have achieved that. I hope all that food tastes as good as it looks and that you’ll have a Happy Thanksgiving.
The food all looks gorgeous, but my favourite photograph is the butter. That one is pure art. Lovely.
Just want to say thanks for all the time and effort you put into your blog. You are one who has inspired me. Wishing you God’s Blessings this Thanksgiving, special times with your family and good health for you and your baby! Happy Thanksgiving!

Great photos, they look delicious. So much cooking you will be all cooked out. Enjoy the eating part and your Thanksgiving.
Those cinnamon rolls made me want to lick my computer screen. Thankfully, I realized they weren’t actually right in front of me and managed to reign it in.
I can’t wait to start my own holiday baking!
Love the butter stick photo! Wish I had one of those scrumptious cinnamon rolls right now! Now I’m off to cook some more…
yummy! those look fabulous.

Great shots, my mouth is watering. Being pregnant is a great excuse to eat what you want, when you want isn’t it?

Oh my . . . those photos of the cinnamon rolls just added POUNDS to my backside. lol YUMMY!
Wonderful, wonderful photos. I’m glad I’ve already eaten Thanksgiving dinner, or I don’t think I could make it through all the food posts. hee hee
Those rolls do look delish! Are you using Pioneer Woman’s recipe?
I linked up my post, but accidentally included the chick-fil-a mention in my title. feel free to edit it or delete (I tried resubmitting without it).
happy thanksgiving day!
Wow…those are great shots–DELICIOUS shots. I haven’t had cinnamon rolls in too long…
I really need to go to Pioneer Woman’s site and get that recipe.
YUM
I’m not so inspired by food, but your photos look great!! Now I wish I had those rolls for breakfast. Yummm!
This is my first You Capture, but you can be assured it won’t be the last, what a fantastic idea. Thanks so much.
You pictures are great, you can tell that you really enjoy photography, it shows.
Oooh! Those pics mke me want to try to tackle cinnamon rolls myself. Haven’t tried them in a long time, maybe this year.

I just posted a late entry for this week’s You Capture
I LOVE the butter shot! Great mouthwatering photos:)
i joined you capture today and am so looking forward to complete each week’s challenge. i think i really need this to get my camera out for more than just shooting my kids, who are already sick and tired of their mom trying to photograph them. lol.
Mmmm. Those look very, very yummy.
Cathy
Oh deliciousness! I actually took some photos of the food we ate for brunch, but not as part of the challenge – I’ll have to work on next week’s challenge. What fun!
Wow, how many people did you feed with all those oh so delightful buns?!
Seriously, if you keep posting about those dog-gone cinnamon rolls (on here AND twitter) I’m going to make you come down here and make me some! So you better get ready!!!
Great shots, that’s really making me hungry though! I just found your site through Melissa at a Familiar Path and this is a great thing to link up to I might join in next time, not sure my photos are anywhere near as good as your other participants but I’ve got to practice to improve, right?

I just have to say: that Pampered Chef Springform Pan is something else, isn’t it? I have one and I can’t imagine making cheesecake without it.
