Hi friends! It’s that time of year again to take you on a holiday tour of my home. This year’s Tour of Homes is hosted by The Nester. Do me a favor and do not look at her house before you look at mine because, well, you know…SHE’S THE NESTER.
I thought about going through my archives to find the tours I have done for the past three years but that requires so much clicking and well, more clicking. I’m not that ambitious. (Perhaps later.)
So, let’s get started, k?
Would you like some coffee or perhaps some hot chocolate? I have truffles and peppermint bark in the fridge. (yes, friends, the peppermint bark tutorial is coming tomorrow!) Please, help yourself.
This is our tree. I suppose it would make sense for me to act like I held the camera in such a way and that the tree only looks like it’s leaning except that would not be truthful. The tree is leaning. I don’t know why. I do not care.

Our little fireplace with our four (and a half) stockings.

Everybody needs mistletoe. (maybe even year round?)

The Nativity.

The outdoors. (a snippet, at least.) I would show you the whole house except I had just changed into my pajamas when I remembered to take photos so you know, it’s cold out and I have no bra on and also I don’t want to be the crazy, weird neighbor who takes photos of her house at night in her pajamas.
Just a stigma I’m trying to avoid. So, I stayed on the porch.

This wreath reads “blessings.”

Can you smell it? Man I love Christmas candles.

And finally. WE ARE BELIEVING.

I hope you enjoyed this simple tour – I am wishing you and your family a very, very Happy Holiday! And thank you to so many of you, for blessing me everyday with just your presence on this blog. Wishing you only the best.

This was a great tour! I love your home so much. My tree is leaning, too! And I am also believing.
And I am not participating in the tour this year. It would be hi, here’s my mess. And my leaning tree. Goodbye.
Steph
Hee, hee, you are funny…now I’m glad I found your blog (great name by the way)! Your home looks wonderful, loving the mantel and stockings. Thanks for keeping it real;)
I love the red berries on the mantle, and I looove that wreath. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wreath with lights in it! I am believing, too.
Thanks for the tour!
Oh, and my holiday candle is Cinnamon and Cloves from Bath and Body Works… yummmmm.
Your house is gorgeous, but I have to tell you that your tree is particularly lovely! Also, I have the exact same candle, Balsam and Cedar, in my living room right now. Isn’t it fantastic?
I love your Nativity–such delicate faces. Isn’t there something amazing about being pregnant at Christmas?
I love it. I love the simplicity of your mantel. Your home looks great!
Absolutely beautiful! My personal favorite is the baby stocking. We are believers here too. Merry Christmas!!
I only wish mine were half as nice! You rock! Merry Christmas….

i’m going to try to join in tomorrow!
Love the mistletoe! I always forget about that little, but lovely, touch.
Oh that tiny baby stocking is just too cute for words. Seriously. LOVE it!
I gotta make those truffles this week. I’m out of puppy chow. Hmph.
Your mantle is so pretty! It makes me want to, you know, try harder this year!
I love the mini stocking, so sweet!
This is my first year doing it, had no idea how fun it would be.

Thanks for keeping it real. Everything looks great. Love the little stocking, too cute.
Believing here, Merry Christmas!

I came here because of the title~but I’ll definitely be coming back! Love your decorating and love your sense of humor. Thanks for sharing =)
Beth – it all looks wonderful!!!
I esp love the stocking shots.
Just so sweet!
Very pretty! I especially love the first shot of the stockings by the fireplace. Frame-worthy!
Oh, that tiny stocking…so sweet! The garland of berries on your mantle with the stockings is a gorgeous touch.
And my tree’s leaning, too. My husband & I struggled forever to fix it…I was trying to adjust the tree while he laid on the floor messing with the base. We finally figured out what was wrong…we have a warped-trunk tree, and no manuvering is going to make that baby stand up straight & tall. Oh well…
Our tree is leaning too (seems to be a common thread amongst your readers…)
Love your stockings – so classic. Where did you get them? My mother-in-law made us ours and, well, I’m not a big fan.
Can’t show you my house because all we have is a poorly decorated tree!
Beautiful! Doesn’t everyone’s tree lean? I thought it was the general condition of all Christmas trees, especially if a child resides in the home.
Absolutley love the ‘Blessings’ wreath.
The tree is so pretty! I love it. The stockings must be my favorite though.
I did get the stuff for truffles yesterday and will be making them today. Peppermint bark is my favorite and I made it yesterday. Soooo good!
Your photography is breathtaking. Love all the decorations. Mistletoe year round-sounds like a plan!

That little stocking is so cute!!! I love it! Oh, and for the record, I WAS the crazy lady on the porch, in the dark, in her pajamas. Yes ma’am, I was!
I am off to get some Christmas tins, and the ingredients for this beautiful candy! Thank you! It looks wonderful!!!! You illustrated it so nicely…lovely captures of the candy cane chips spilling into the pot! Love it!
Your tour is beautiful. Thank you for risking ridicule by your neighbour just for us. It is highly appreciated. Just tell your neighbour he/she needs to get a blog and they’ll understand.
Merry Christmas!
