oh la la! I just finished a batch and you are right – the hardest thing was preparing the indgredients.
YUM! So far I’ve only licked the spoon but mmmmm…… I can’t wait to eat some cooled off.
It’ll be wonderful for my party tomorrow.

I have never had peppermint bark. (I’m almost 40). I made it following your recipe and this will be a new family favorite every year. Thanks for sharing the step by step tutorial.

Made this last night and it turned out great!!! Hubby took it to work so he and all the other nurses could get rid of it for me (and now, I have an excuse to make more!!!). I was thinking of putting down a layer of chocolate first, too. Yummmm….

I use the same simple recipe, except that I use Merckens chocolate and add a layer of milk chocolate over the top of the peppermint bark once it’s cooled.

I am SO excited to try and make this. My grandma LOVES peppermint bark, and I am hoping to make this for her for Christmas. Great photos, too…making my mouth water. haha!

Great recipe! I never realized how easy it was to make!

For the next batch I am going to melt semi-sweet milk chocolate and mix with the peppermint extract and then drizzle over the top. Your recipe has created a monster!
