You Capture – Colors
ByHi friends!
Did you have some luck capturing colors? I guess I did except I did not make it outside because of all of the freezing temperatures and whatnot.
So, I looked indoors and I did find some color.
I found this color photo at my daughter’s birthday party. *cupcakesmadefromscratch.*

A few hours before the party I decided to reupholster our barstools, they looked like someone had dropped ice cream, chip dip, milk and Dr. Pepper all over them. Oh wait….that is what happened to them.
So, rather than buying new barstools, my sister and I headed to the fabric store and bought the most beautiful fabric ever. The only thing that would make me happier is if I knew how to turn this fabric into a beautiful tablecloth. But that requires a sewing machine and not a staple gun so I guess I’m out of luck.

And not so close-up:

and of course you can’t have a party without sprinkles, can you? You can? Oh.

HAPPY CAPTURING, FRIENDS!

I was wondering if my computer is just being weird or if the mclinky thing has disappeared. Does anyone else have this problem?
My son would totally agree that it would be NO party unless sprinkles were involved. He is a sprinkle freak! LOVE the colors… I miss that kind of color in my home. My hubby is all earth tones. My bathroom is the only colorful room in the house (brick red and I love it)I really love your chair fabric! Very cool.
I LOVE THAT FABRIC!!! Where did you get it?
@colleen: McLinky is also MIA for me – I’ll give it another try later.
I LOVE the fabric you chose! The colors are pretty fab.
I’m not get the McLinky either. Hope all is ok!
Hi Beth. I was a little busy today, and didn’t get a chance to look at the contributors to today’s post. Would you be able to put them up again? I’d love a chance to see everyone’s colors! =)
Your barstools turned out great – love that fabric and the photo of course!
Hooray! He’s back up and running!
LOVE the fabric!! I can never find fun fabric like that.
The colors in your bar stool covers are fabulous! I also like your perspective on the sprinkles. Thanks again for inspiring all of us!
Birthdays make GREAT color pics. Happy Birthday to your sweet daughter. I LOVE the fabric you chose for your bar stools. They turned out so great!
This is my first week playing along!….I’m doing a 365 project, so I hope to have something to contribute again each week!!
Thanks!!
I mistakenly added my link to last week’s You Capture, too! Whoops :-/

I love the barstools!!! Awesome re-do!!
Gorgeous fabric! I tried to make curtains out of something similar once. I should mention I don’t sew either. It did not go nearly as well as your barstools.
Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter!
You pictures are fantastic, I’m a big fan of the fabric as well. I can definitely see making a few throw pillows out of it.
Oh what great color you found
This is my first time linking up, what a great idea!
I love all the photos you chose for this week! Awesome!
And happy birthday to your beautiful girl.
You did find the most beautiful fabric! One of these days, I’d love to redo our seat cushions. Right now we have the cushions that always slide off our chairs . . . maybe I’ll go thrifting for some barstool ones. Anyway, love the colors. Love the photos! I especially like the sprinkle photo, how the color pops out.
Oh!!! That FABRIC!!! I loveLOVElove it!
Great choice! And I hope your little darling had a fun birthday.

Oh, I have trouble too! I am signed up for Mr. Linky, but didn’t find You Capture as one of the choices…
I love your fabric–and the cupcakecake makes me smile.
LOVE your barstools. Such beautiful fabric! These pictures make me want to make cupcakes and have a party, but none of us has a birthday until May.
One time I turned a piece of fabric into a beautiful tablecloth. I just asked my mother-in-law to do it
She did a great job and we actually used it on my daughter’s first birthday.
You make life look so beautiful — and it keeps me coming back to see what you are up to.
I love the picture of the cupcakes!
Oooh. Love the barstool fabric. You are so crafty!
