Hi friends!
Did you have some luck capturing colors? I guess I did except I did not make it outside because of all of the freezing temperatures and whatnot.
So, I looked indoors and I did find some color.
I found this color photo at my daughter’s birthday party. *cupcakesmadefromscratch.*

A few hours before the party I decided to reupholster our barstools, they looked like someone had dropped ice cream, chip dip, milk and Dr. Pepper all over them. Oh wait….that is what happened to them.
So, rather than buying new barstools, my sister and I headed to the fabric store and bought the most beautiful fabric ever. The only thing that would make me happier is if I knew how to turn this fabric into a beautiful tablecloth. But that requires a sewing machine and not a staple gun so I guess I’m out of luck.

The stools are adorable…and your daughter is beautiful!
LOVE THAT FABRIC.
sweet anna. she is a beauty.
really hoping to get my colors up before a week late this time!
A party without sprinkles is no party at all I say
Love love love your “new” stools!!!
I love the sprinkles! And great job on the bar stools! I re-covered some chairs this year and its amazing what a difference a staple gun and a few yards of fabric can do!
That fabric is excellent! I would like a skirt made of that.
Love that fabric. Great colors to counteract the gray of winter.
Oh, I LOVE that fabric!
Great fabric…cute cupcakes!!
You are so talented! In so many ways
The table cloth I could do, but not the reupholster!
It’s my first You Capture! Also, if you want a tablecloth, I could probably whip one up for you. Where did you get that georgous fabric?

The fabric is wonderful! And, no, you can’t have a party without sprinkles.
I JUST bought that same fabric to make a bag with!! Don’t you love how fresh and springy it is???!!!!
Oooh, what great color shots! Love the sprinkles. And three cheers for you for homemade cupcakes! We’re having my daughter’s 3rd birthday brunch this weekend, & I’m very excited about making her cake. I’ve never understood why people buy those insipid, fake-tasting cake mixes when cakes are so easy to make from scratch, and taste so much better!
These are BEAUTIFUL!
I had a hard time finding color, but did in my own way!
Steph
I LOVE that fabric! You’ve just re-inspired me to finally do something about the fabric on our kitchen table chairs which is off-white and terribly stained. And those cupcakes look delish!
Love that fabric!!! I think you should take orders…
PLEASE tell me you’re kidding. PLEASE tell me that you are not so organized, your house is not so clean, you are not so stress-free that just hours before a party at your house, you are RUNNING TO THE FABRIC STORE AND RECOVERING YOUR BARSTOOLS. Oh good grief!!! I feel more pathetic than ever!!!
Great pictures!! I love your choice of fabric–so fresh and bright! Anna is precious–so glad she had a happy birthday.
The fabric is awesome, I must agree.
I’m not sure but I think it’s possible to use stitch witchery to make that into a table cloth. I am sans sewing machine too and I used it to add ribbon to Baby K’s valances over her window. It’s just iron on and I’m pretty sure it could create a “hem” as well. Just an idea b/c I love that fabric too and I want you to have your tablecloth! : ) And yes, MUST have sprinkles for party!
P.S. I found color outside, come see if you get a chance!
Is there no end to your talents? You just whipped up some amazing bar stool covers just like that? I love them!
That fabric is amazing! I’m jealous.
I can’t decide if I like the sprinkles the best or the lovely fabric on your chairs best.
If you really want a tablecloth, I am sure my mom could do it! She should, after all, since you’re practically her daughter-in-law what with us being married and all.
Also, I want a cupcake. Please bring me one, thanks.E
The sprinkles are my favorite, but the chairs are a close second. =)
I got lucky with a mild thaw, so I got outside. Hope you like my colors.
Love, love, LOVE your bar stool upholstery! I want.
[...] You can see who did remember their camera’s and what colours they found over at I should be folding laundry. [...]
I think you just inspired me to redo some chairs in a funky colorful print
Thank you!
omg, i LOVE the stools! i am trying to start learning how to sew which isn’t going so well. but, a staple gun would work just fine for me! i would love to be creative today! hmmm
Beautiful Shots!! And I LOVE that fabric:)
I love the sprinkles and the fabric, great shots!
I love the sprinkles, such a cool picture!
I love the fabric on those barstools so much that IT HURTS ME. Seriously. I am in PAIN.
I love the barstools! Really cool!
There is NO way anyone could have a party without sprinkles. No WAY! I love the colors in the fabric. There are so many decorating options you could pull from it. Can’t believe you reupholstered those stools hours before a party. I’d have been too stressed to even think about it!
Love, love, love that fabric! Just looking at it makes me happy. And of course your photos…beautiful, as always.
I love that I see Spring in your ‘color’ photos. Very beautiful!

The photos and fabric are wonderful – you simply MUST tell us the name and maker of that fabric. It should be printed on the selvage (the side of the fabric that usually has the white line, words and colorful dots)!
LOVE the fabric on those! And the sprinkles are so much fun. Great shots!
LOVE the fabric!

Hi Beth – I adore those cushion covers! Stunning material
I took cupcakes too..! I’m not sure where your Linky has gone, but I have my post up (on time this week!). I’ll check back again tomorrow to see if Linky is back and hook in!
!!
Hope all goes well with your scan. Keep us posted ~ as I’m sure you will
Love your barstool covers! And they even have birds! Awww…so sweet!
Hi! I had trouble with post. I am not sure if this is me, of there is a general issue…
1. I did not see Mr Linky on the page for posting
2. The page loaded very slowly. In fact I thought it was missing the bottom of the post because I did not see it for 45 seconds. The status line said “loading data from PayPal” . Then I switched to another window to do something else, and when I came back the rest of the page was displayed, but no Mr. Linky. I tried with Mozilla and IE.
I could not figure out how to post… so
Here is my entry for color:
