me too with the neurotic love of hospital ice. for valentine’s day, i’m thinking of asking for an industrial-size hospital ice maker to come live in my hallway.

That is exactly what my kids are eating for dinner, right now! booooya!!! great minds think alike….and about the only wonderful thing about living in northern indiana, would be the yoders noodles!

BH contractions… not a fond memory. sorry! BUT your bean will be here soon. HOW EXCITING! As for the hospital ice (or ice in general) yum. Although I’m sure I would eat a cupcake a whole lot faster.

That chicken soup sounds perfect. I don’t add salt either. My hubby usually adds his own. Thanks for the recipe chica!

I was so addicted to hospital ice & ice in general when I was pregnant….my husband and everyone around me thought I was going insane. I’m glad to hear that it’s a completely normal thing!

i would pick hospital ice over these things, too. when pregnant, i would do even more for ice. {i was going to say hurt someone for that ice. it MIGHT be true.}

i would take plastic bags of it home from work. i ran out a couple times. once i went to the hospital at 4 in the morning, in my pajamas, to get some. one time i had matt run and get some at close to midnight. and once i had a co-worker drop some off at the end of her shift.

AND NOW I WANT HOSPITAL ICE RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND.

My hospital gives out chocolate pudding to new moms like nobody’s business. I don’t even like chocolate pudding, but man, I put some away when I’m there. Bet it’d be good on ice, too …

Hospital ice! Oh, and my hospital has this juice that is like the nectar of the gods. And? They give all postpartum mothers this incredibly awesome insulated drink cup and that is the thing I am second most excited about upon giving birth.

Now, I don’t want to go around making demands of my favorite bloggers (especially when said bloggers are having babies next month) and your chicken noodle recipe does sound delicious… but wasn’t there something coming about those insane-looking donuts a week or so ago? I’ve been waiting patiently for those ever since and the salivating probably won’t stop until I know how to make them.

I LOOOOOOVE hospital ice. I call it rabbit turd ice. Taco Bell used to have the same ice. Crunchy, but strangely soft. Exciting that you’re getting closer to baby!!
