You know, you would think that as the host of You Capture I wouldn’t procrastinate, except I do. Horribly.
I took the majority of my photos just this morning as the kids were eating breakfast before school. Typically, I give them their cereal and their fruit and head upstairs and get ready myself…but today, I gave them their cereal and fruit and sat down at their table with my camera.
First, they looked at me like I was an alien. Then we just had fun. So much fun that I thought “I need to do this more often.”
Here are my photos for this week, by the way…I love their faces.

(this is Noah’s mad face. We request he make this face at us at least once a day. We find it to be hilarious.)

There you have it. Now I have these photos of my kids that I love, that I would not have taken without You Capture. Today I am so thankful for You Capture!
Now it’s your turn to share, friends! Please read the guidelines. PLEASE, OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE.

One of my wonderful readers emailed me and said “hey Beth, I have a good idea for You Capture! How about work?” And I was all like “SOUNDS GREAT TO ME!”
So, next week’s challenge:
WORK.
Now get to work. Happy Capturing!

God, I love these kids!! Give them big hugs for me.

BTW, my 6 yr old daughter does the EXACT same face as the 2nd shot of Anna.
That last one with the rolled eyes and the finger up in the air totally cracked me up. Sheesh, your kiddos are cuteness embodied.
Love those gorgeous faces!!
Oh my goodness, I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who took pictures this morning at breakfast.
And oh my goodness Ariel’s EYES! She’s beautiful!
Your children are stunning!
These are great! They are so full of personality! Procrastinating seems to work well for you…
I love “You Capture” I really need to participate! Soon…hopefully soon. Great shots of the kiddos!
See, I never join in because you take such beautiful pictures that I’m sort of embarrassed to have you see my pitiful attempts. But when I saw it was faces I figured I could put link my post from yesterday – all pictures of my youngest’s beautiful face.
And no matter how poor my photography skills are I could not possibly make her look bad. The point in there was your pictures (and your kids) are beautiful.
Gotta love those red painted nails!! The expressions on your gang is priceless
It just made my day that you used my theme~yes! Unfortunately, my Faces pictures got left on my home computer… a lunchtime mission now!
Your last minute pictures are beautiful!
That mad face is too cute!
i adore those fresh little faces. (and i often wonder why i am no longer cute first thing in the morning. sad story.)
ps. next week’s theme sounds like WORK! sorry, i couldn’t resist.
I love Noah’s face…very funny!
I would ask Noah to make the angry face all the time, too. HOW CUTE! Those are great shots. Thanks for sharing!
Noah’s face is so funny! I’d be asking him to make it daily as well!
Love those shots! Great faces…I love the faces kids make…priceless.
You have beautiful children. The “mad face” is funny! Your photography style challenges me and inspires me. Thank you!
I loved this week’s topic was fun.

That mad face cracks me up…I would request it too!
Anna is adorable as always!
I’m loving this week’s theme, Beth! Thank you!! Great photos!
These are priceless! Who says procrastination is a bad thing?
I love the faces assignment this week. When I look at y’all pictures I see that I have lots to learn…
Gorgeous faces! Wonderfully done!
Those kids of yours are quite the pair! I can’t wait to see them with their little brother. The thought of those faces make me happy FOR you. Thanks, again, for holding You Capture. It always gets me out there and thinking.
Your kids are awesome. If you guys lived nearby, I’d request Noah’s mad face daily.

noah’s mad face. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
tell anna i love her nail polish!
great pictures.
i’ve totally fallen off of the “you capture” wagon…and I miss it.
Oh they are so cute! Those faces are priceless. And just think! Soon you’ll have another one! Cuteness multiplied!
I meant to do this one but my kids haven’t given me much of a chance to get pics off our camera lately! (It’s mostly the 6-month-old, we think she’s teething.) I just noticed how much Noah looks like you, especially his mouth. It does look like they were having a fun time in these pictures!
I posted two #75 & 76. The first is of my daughter – today is her 3rd birthday. She was SO excited to find balloons waiting for her at the breakfast table. The 2nd is of my 3 month old – I put him down thinking he was asleep but came back up a few minutes later to find him staring at his lamb.
I just found your blog a few days ago and love it and the You Capture. I’m really trying harder to capture the little moments of everyday life, because as our kids’ birthdays remind us, life goes too fast.
Ok so I cant seem to get Mr.Linky to work with my Flickr photos. So here they are. The first is of my daughter – today is her 3rd birthday, she was so excited to find balloons waiting for at the breakfast table. The second is my 3 month old son who I thought was asleep but I found staring at his lamb instead.

!
Thanks Beth!… off to check out some more faces…
You’re right. Your son’s mad face is hilarious!
I took my pictures this morning too! your kids are too darn cute!
Beautiful faces! You make breakfast look fun!
I figured after stalking your blog for so long, I should enter.
It was so much fun picking out a few of my favourite faces!
Noah’s mad face is hysterical, the last one of Anna is beautiful!
So cute!!!
[...] again to Beth at I should be folding laundry for a great topic. Will have to head over there now to see what other faces pictures there [...]
What great photos, and what a great capture topic, faces are great things to photograph. You have beautiful children!
Cute, cute children! They both crack me up.
They look like they have a lot of fun. And I know what you mean on sitting in on a time with them that you usually bail out of to get something done — and then you realize how awesomely funny or smart they are and you think – what have I been missing??
Kids rock.
Love that last one!
