You Capture – Work
BySo, did you have fun capturing work or was it, you know, work?
Mine wasn’t very fun for me, I really wanted some sunshine to take my photos in but we had the opposite of that until today…after I had taken my photos. But at least we have some sun today. Do you?
My first photo is of my workstation. This is where I work, design, play, eat, sleep, slobber, sneeze, cough, burp, you get the idea. It’s my office.
If you look very closely, you can see crumbs under my laptop which only makes sense because I have a very serious crumb problem. I need help.
Here is my daughter. She is always working on crafts and homework and pretend homework and making messes. She’s very busy.
And speaking of messes – this is my messy coffee table which is just waiting to be cleaned up, which is, of course, WORK. Luckily, Brian and the kids cleaned up while I made dinner. Each of those papers were for me. I’m a very lucky Mama.

My laptop is full of crumbs too. My husband hates it!
I tried to take pictures that revealed minimal dirt LOL….don’t look too closely at the washing machine.
I always always always get crumbs in my laptop! I do like using the little brush or air blower thing to get them out though. Weird, but satisfying.

I had so much fun with this, looking through other peoples I think they got frustrated with it, but my thought was “We ALL work, regardless of where we go everyday or how much money we make, and there is work all around us.” I’m glad some people really took on the challenge. Thanks Beth!
I have been known to use the cloning tool on picnik to remove the crumbs from my photographic life.

Sometimes I have to press extra hard on the Shift key until I hear the crunch of whatever food has fallen beneath it. Me and crumbs are on very close terms.
And yes! Beautiful sun today! It’s making the world very bright since it has so much SNOW to reflect off of!
I did have fun with this week’s theme! My guess is because it allowed me to procrastinate just a little bit longer
As far as sunshine, there was some earlier this week (although it was freezing outside so I stayed in doors). Today it’s snowing like crazy (which is crazy for this part of Texas), yet the University is still open, go figure!
I didn’t participate today because I’m a stay-at-home mom and DON’T work. Hah! I should’ve put this work in because it’s WORK… 24/7 work. So, I missed out today.
But I’ll check out all the others’ works, because I’m snoopy that way.

Also, the snow days thwarted my plans for this week’s, which really isn’t all bad.

I must say I owe the inspiration behind my post today to my husband. I didn’t want to talk about my “real” work on my blog, so he came up with the photo of a photo idea. It’s very meta.

How great your laptop is silver, mine is black and when I took a picture of it..yikes…I could see all the dirt and ick!
There’s all kinds of junk on and around my laptop. It’s crazy. Looks like Miss Anna is hard at WORK!
you and i have solidarity in the crumb-issue department. (i’ve concluded that my food items are just crumbier than other people’s. that’s the only viable explanation, really.)

I really like how the concept of “work” is really varied.
I wish my office area was as nice as yours! I’d take a few crumbs over my mess. Sigh. Someday I’ll get it organized.
