And now friends, I present to you my final giveaway!
For the past year or so (longer, I do believe), I have been a member of Clickin’ Moms which is an online community geared towards women who take pictures. This site is FILLED, literally, FILLED with photography information. It’s full of tips, tricks, advice, tutorials and challenges. (and more…LOTS MORE.) The group consists of women who are amateurs, semi-professional and professional photographers.
If you are looking to improve your photography skills…OHMYGOD, this is the place to learn.
Kendra, the owner of Clickin’ Moms is very generously offering three lucky, lucky readers a one-year membership to Clickin’ Moms, which is a $50 value. (but seriously, it’s invaluable, no kidding.)
To enter this giveaway:
Tell me something you do to relax! – please do not say PICK ME because that makes me want to cry like a baby while hiding in the corner of the room.
Also, you’ll receive an additional entry if you tweet, blog or write on facebook about this giveaway, just leave the link to either of the three in a SEPARATE comment!
Contest ends Thursday, 5/6/10 at 10:00 am CST – winners will be announced Thursday evening!
(don’t forget to enter the rest of the Mother’s Day Giveaways!)

To relax I prefer to sit in front of the tv with my laptop on my lap. Writing that doesn’t make it sound very relaxing, but it is…… to me.
I blog to relax. Somehow reliving and tying up the day in a blog post helps me relax and know the day was worth doing.
Thanks for running these fun giveaways!
Happy Mother’s day to you!
To relax – I hang out with my kids at my brothers house. He has the trampoline at his house because they make me too nervous with all the kids in our neighborhood, so though he has a fiancee and no kids, he does have a huge trampoline in his yard. So we head there the girls jump themselves silly and the grown ups enjoy an “adult beverage” on the deck. perfection.
I also am really excited about this giveaway I just bought a Nikon D5000, and bought the “for dummies” book for it. But I will definately be looking into this site. thanks for the info Beth!
Hulu. Babies to bed, Hulu for mommy.
I love to take a bath and read a book. Light a few candles and use some yummy scented bubble bath…but this happens once in a blue moon. And even less now that we are 1 week away from having another little one!
aaaand…the tweet… http://twitter.com/mom2girls/status/13483242513
To relax: Spider Solitaire and Ace of Cakes. Leaving the house without children always helps immensely also.
I mean, I don’t leave them here by themselves! What I meant is: when I get to GO somewhere without them. Hope that clears up any confusion.
Ohhhhh! What a super fantastical giveaway.
To relax.. I really had to think on this one. I suppose I just lay cross ways across my bed and watch a little Say Yes to the Dress. I really wanted to say edit photos but that just stresses me out.
To relax I like to take a leisurely (is that how you spell that?) walk. Or just sit on the couch, catching up on DVR and eating Bon-Bons. Depends on what time of the month it is!
To relax I drink coffee, sometimes spiked; once the kiddos are fast asleep in their beds. This goes along with literature and the comfort of knowing how blessed I am.
A hot bath with a good magazine!
I blog to relax, which is less fattening than my other way to relax…eating chocolate.
I create with polymer clay & scrapbook with friends to relax. =D
To relax, I love a nice, hot bubble bath!
I blog to relax
Sometimes our most terrible days end up being the funniest blog posts!
Oh I’ve been wanting to join! To relax? I get sushi taskeout and plop myself in front of my Tivo for the night!
To relax, I love to get pedicures. I just found this AMAZING place in my new town that serves wine while you get your pedicure. How awesome is that?!
And, I just have to say that I would really love this Clickin’ Moms thing. I just got a dSLR and was drooling over a membership not two days ago. It would be incredible!
well, this will probably sound odd, but I like to play video games to relax.
love me some video games. <3
A nice hot shower and then crawling in bed with a good book.
My favorite way to relax is to curl up with a good book.
Oh, my favorite way to relax is to jump in my car ALONE, listen to music as loud as I want, or nothing at all, head to the country, while drinking my coffee and taking pictures. I find these solo country drives both relaxing and inspiring and I come home one happy, relaxed mama–usually with some pretty cool pictures.
I garden to relax….even the pulling weeds part calms me down. I really love it.
I like to write or get on the computer.
Read blogs!
In the mornings after the older kids go to school and before the younger ones wake up, I like to sit in the dark living room reading people’s blogs and FB.. I’m weird!
I am a scrapbooking fool. I only get to do it a couple of times a year but when I get together with my two best girl friends it is wonderful therapy. I think we could solve most of the worlds problems if we could meet like that more often!!
I like to sit in my dark living room after I take the older kids to school and just read blogs and play on FB.
I sit and soak up silence – that’s how I relax
I sit in the dark living room after the older kids go to school and relish in the silence before the babies wake up.
I blog, read blogs, cruise facebook, and sometimes scrapbook while watching tv. That is my day to day “me” time. However, my most favorite thing to do though is go on a fun outing with my hubby and kids. I love hanging out with them, building fun memories.

usually to relax I can be found in my room with a cup of herbal tea, nursing my little guy, and reading a book…ah…peaceful!
Drink fancy, overpriced coffee. By myself. In a comfy chair. And read a book. For fun.
To relax I like to read a book while taking a bubble bath!
I love to take a long bath – which usually doesn’t happen!
Relax…what’s that? I think I remember relaxing in 1992…before I had children! But if I did have time to relax I would read a good book or maybe take a walk. Oh…how I wish….
Would love to join Clinkin’ Moms!
I read, surf the web, or hide out in my craft space. I’m determined to learn more about photography and head out and take more shots.!

Believe it or not I take pictures
I get behind my camera and get lost and caught up in trying to get that perfect shot
and that relaxes me
I like to get a pedicure to relax. I also love to hang out with my girlfriends, we can be doing nothing or everything.
Ohhh, I have a newborn too, so to relax?? Hmmm, what is relaxing again? LOL. Well, with the nicer weather out I like to go for a walk, and my newborn likes it too, it calms him… which calms me.
Relaxation comes from couch time with my Bella. We lay on the couch and watch whatever is on the DVR. Sometimes Sarge joins me and we all squeeze on to the little couch and it really does make me relax even faster.
I digital scrapbook – it is my creative release! So learning to take better pictures is one of my 2010 goals, because without good pictures scrapbooks are just not as fun!
I read blogs to relax
I also work on my Project Life Album…I’m doing a picture from every day of my little boy’s first year. It’s so much fun!
Read.
I love to scrapbook. A few times a year I print out tons of pictures and sit down with everything spread out in front of me for hours. I like to just cozy up and watch television too – especially the early morning (Regis and Kelly, Ellen) or late night (Jimmy Fallon) shows.
To relax, I love to watch my children from afar-when I’m not the one in charge of them, when they don’t even know I’m watching, when I’m just far enough that I can hear their sounds but not quite make out the words.
To watch them as they interact with my mom or my husband…all of them unaware…it warms my heart and soothes my soul.
I love to watch TV. I sit on the couch like a big blob and just stare.
I read. Books, blogs, whatever. Reading is my relaxation!
