Hi friends!
How did you do with Depth of Field? I had fun, wish I were able to capture more but that’s okay.
Tonight, I was changing Elijah’s diaper and he was so very angry with me. He was angry (he hadn’t eaten in TWO WHOLE HOURS!) and his diaper was very full and so it took awhile to get him all cleaned up. I was about to nurse him when I decided to give him his medicine which typically calms him down because he enjoys the taste so much.
I gave it to him and he calmed right down. Even found himself a foot rest.

I bought this flower the day before Mother’s Day. It’s so strange and well, it won’t die, apparently. I love the subtleness of the chair in the background. The flower looks like a firework or ramen noodles, don’t you think?

And now we are back to Eli’s feet. Just look at those cute little piggies.

Those are my depth of field shots, I can’t wait to see yours!

Happy Capturing, my loves!

I finally decided to join in on the fun and am so glad. It was so much fun! And I love, love, LOVE the first shot of your little guy – what a sweetie!
This was a fun one to do. Aren’t baby toes so cute and fun to photograph? Love it!
Toesies!! I love it!!
A shallow depth of field is one of my favorite ways to shot so I had fun with this weeks assignment!
Love the piggy shot…….it is kind of like one of my shots, except with an 11 year old and a bunch of her giggling friends.
I so LOVE shooting this way. I wish I had a better camera so I had better control over it, but alas I upgraded last year so I could do this better and so I can’t upgrade again quite yet.
I LOVE the baby toes!
Hey! I was able to get something pulled together after all! Thanks for keeping me challenged!
This was fun!
Of course I love all three of your shots. The softness of the first one belies the sharp focus, the bloom is interesting and contrasts nicely with the out-of-focus chair, and the incredible – in your face – sharp focus and color in the last one.
Very sweet shots. Love love love the tiny toes. Everyone’s either giving birth or getting pregnant around me. Hope it’s not some kind of message… =)
This was a fun week! Love the sweet baby shots and that flower is nuts! LOL!
Leaving a comment – this is fun. It’s so neat to get to share photos around, isn’t it?
Love the baby feet!
I love those baby feet!
I would read a blog that was just all about baby feet.
Baby feet=weakness
This is my first time to actually post for You Capture. I hope it will inspire to keep participating in the weeks to come. =) Love your photos! Really enjoy looking at everyone else’s too. Great work everyone!
I decided to try this out…thanks for such a cool idea!
Looking forward to doing this every week! And seeing other’s photos…
Hooray! I actually got some good pictures to share for this assignment. Last week I ended up deleting all my “yellow” pictures. They stunk.
My first time participating
yay!
Oh, those toes! Don’t you just want to kiss um?
Great shots! Nothing cuter than baby feet!
beautiful photos and a beautiful little boy!
Love the flower! And Eli’s foot…sooo sweet!
Beautiful pics BH! Love to you and the rest of the soul family… Can’t wait to see you guys soon and to squeeze on Elijah’s toes!
love, JH
Wow! These have been so much fun to look at! Your mom’s shots were so cool and yours (of course, because YUMMY BABY TOES) and just everyone’s! I didn’t have time to post any of my trial/error photos but I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the challenge! I learned a TON about my camera in the process of teaching myself about DOF and I did get some really cool pictures that I love while I was experimenting. So thanks for making me switch off manual and mess around with the bells and whistles on my Canon. Very valuable stuff!
Just wanted to let you know that I got my birth announcement today and it is ADORABLE! You have one handsome little dude… and your other two kiddos are beautiful as well!
This is my very first week of participating in the challenge….. thanks so much for the inspiration and the push to actually get the camera out…. oh and your bubba shots are just gorgeous….
Ah, baby feet. So wrinkly, soft, and sweet.

I love that the challenge has to do with depth of field. This aspect of photography both challenges me and gives me great insight into what kind of photos I want to create. Thank you!
Love depth of field!
Can’t wait to keep up with these challenges!
