Are you watching the World Cup soccer game?
We are. I was pretty confused by this since we don’t watch soccer but then all of a sudden a bunch of hot guys flooded the field and I was all like “when will they air the reruns?”
So, I posted over here about having another child. Join me for the conversation, won’t you?
And look at how positively stunning he is. We love him. A LOT. (and we think he loves us, too. A LOT)

Oh my gosh, that is the latest photo!
He looks so thoughtful in all his pictures. I want to squeeze him (but I won’t.) I basically want to squeeze all babies at this point.
I haven’t watched much soccer before, but maybe I should be. Hmm…
P.S. Sorry for being such a lurker. Caprismama has encouraged me to delurk on some of the nearby mom’s blogs that I hang out on as my due date approaches.
It’s not hockey, so no not watching
We went off playground hopping.
I think if I tried to not watch the futbol games I would be exiled from Europe. It also doesn’t help to be married into a Portuguese family.
Also? Could he be more adorable? And perfect? And adorable?!
I’m with you on the soccer…I don’t understand soccer but I like the close ups of the players.
and if my uterus wasn’t already occupied it would be aching right now, he’s adorable.
I grew up in a huge soccer family so we totally watched it today.
Ohhhh he is just GORGEOUS and that picture is fantastic! I am super jealous of your gorgeous baby and your wonderful photography skills!!
Love love love this picture. He truly is stunning.
Oh, it’s like he lets you see his soul, so precious.
Steph
He is GORGEOUS, Beth. So happy for you.
Oh, wow. All the pictures of Eli have been beautiful, but I love this one. Especially the mix of sweet baby being held by his daddy (I’m assuming). It makes faceless Brian seem so big and strong and tender holding his child. Absolutely lovely.
That is the SWEETEST picture. EVER. Awesome.
Wow – what a great picture! I love that you framed it with your husband’s arm in the picture – it just adds so much depth.
Cheers!
Anne
What a great photograph! I love that you framed it with your husband’s arm in the shot – it just adds so much depth to the image.

That picture is FANTASTIC! He’s such a beautiful boy. Great shot Beth!
That is a really beautiful photo !
oh yes, it is world cup fever over at our place. enjoying it.
Oh my goodness that photo.
My husband spent 8.5 uninterrupted hours watching soccer this weekend – and plans to record all the games. I love seeing how the sport really moves the rest of the world – whole countries stop and put aside their differences to cheer for their team. Good stuff.
And that is, no question, my favorite Eli picture to date. Perfection.
A beautiful photo! He’s so adorable!
Just wanted to let you know we are back from our trip to MIchigan City and we had an awesome time. The house we stayed at was on top of a dune and it was huge and the view was amazing out of every single window (and there were a lot of windows)! We checked out Redamaks and Oinks and you were right about both! We also went to the Washington Park Zoo and visited the dunes. Most importantly, we just relaxed by beautiful Lake Michigan and enjoyed each others company. We all agree that we will go back again and enjoy even more of what the area has to offer! Thanks for the tips you gave…they made our stay even more enjoyable!
Love soccer.
Love your baby photos.
Eli is so gorgeous – I just want to snuggle him!
I can’t wait for my daughter (5 weeks old) to be that alert so I can take some awesome pictures of her, too.
What a breathtaking picture!
Such a cute pic!
…and YES, we are watching…I’ve become a “World Cup Widow.” The games are on every moment my husband’s home, and the games he misses are DVRed.
Got a great chuckle (and another and another) out of reading your opening lines to this post!
Loved it!
