You Capture – America
By(or any country!) There are no words to describe my love for the Fourth of July. I have to say that it gets a lot of love from me because it’s in July. We celebrated and celebrated and celebrated. It was a good (and exhausting) weekend.
Here are my shots. I had big visions of taking photos of farms and cornfields and our downtown areas which scream America! to me but I was apparently too busy eating s’mores and wiping watermelon juice off of my floors to make time to do that. Next time, right?
Anna collected flags at the parade. I finally had to tell her to stop once I pictured them scattered all over my house. They are currently scattered all over my house.

Behind all of these cute children was a woman being pulled in some sort of chair with wheels. I was pretty jealous of her. Looked like fun.

Those are my shots this week now it’s your turn to share!
Just a few simple rules before you link up:
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)

mmmm, smores and watermelon. Yay for the Fourth of July and America!! Loving that ‘train’!
I have a picture of that lady, if you want a copy. I know you wanted to be her. Love these!
Steph
I had an idea too photograph a small town rodeo but alas I didn’t make it out to one.
A)SO excited to see a “you capture” on “Thursday Eve” How fun!
B) Great shots!! As always! I <3 the one of the flags!
C) That little car train looks S O C O O L !
I had all the plans to do some kind of really creative non-flag picture…and then I saw this great flag in the darkness across the water. Sometimes I get the opposite of what I want and it’s great.
Fun to see what everyone captured!
i have scattered flags, too.
i love both of these shots.
if my kids wake up because i just yelled at you, you’re in trouble.
I just typed a really long (like stupidly long) comment and lost it. It said something like blah blah blah probably half of the parade thingys I saw looked really fun to be on, but the other half looked like death. Daughters of the American Revolution in full on garb, walking, in 90 degree heat? No thank you.
My first comment was better and made more sense. Oh well.
Maybe you could volunteer to be the chair lady next year! Sounds like a sweet ride
Eating watermelon and s’mores is the perfect way to spend an afternoon
Hope you had a good time!!
Well now I want someone around here to build a cool train like that.
Great shots!

I love the flag shots. We also now have scattered flags around our house, which are sometimes used as flags… and sometimes weapons.
Lovely pictures. The wagons look like fun ! I can imagine myself in one, comfy on cushions, an iced coffee in my hand, waving madly, being pulled by Hugh Jackman.

I rode in a little barrel train like that in a parade when I was a kid. ah..Memories. I don’t think it was pulling a lady in a chair though. That’s random & funny.
