Hi friends! How was your week? I loved having a choice this week – did you? I knew from the start which one I would choose and I really enjoyed it.
I chose chair.
I had so much fun that this will be a future assignment.
This picture was taken yesterday at Brookfield Zoo.

This past weekend we were in Louisville, we went out for ice cream at my sister’s favorite ice cream shop, it’s called The Comfy Cow and it’s super, super cute and SO delicious.
It just so happened they hung chairs on their walls. What are the chances?

And for their general seating they had all sorts of different chairs. I loved this one.

That’s it for me, now it’s your turn to share!
But first a few things:
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)

America. Let’s celebrate Independence Day!
Think outside the typical shot of the American flag, although those shots are certainly okay. What does America mean to you? Capture it and share with us!
I realize not everyone is from the United States, so please feel free to celebrate your nation and what it means to you in your post!
{TIP: while we’re on the topic of photography, one of my all time favorite websites to help learn photography is Clickin’ Moms. I can’t stress to you how much I have learned. It’s worth EVERY CENT. Just click on the banner below to get there!}
Happy Capturing!

I love the chair on the wall. Also, mmm, ice cream.
I’ve missed you capture these past few weeks.
hopefully next week I’ll be back! I love your chair shots, they are fabulous though!
I must – MUST – get my kids to the zoo!!!! Love the chair on the wall
so funny – I though you had chosen green at first because of the green bench, then saw the rest were chairs.
Lovely photos, but I like the green best.
I love the color green so my choice was easy. Fun to have a choice this week.
Love your chair captures Beth! Especially the last one. . . the angle is really neat. Thanks for sharing :]
I love that green bench….what a fun day at the zoo!
I love that chair hanging on the wall!
I can guarantee next time I am at Brookfield Zoo I will be looking for that green bench
Great shots!
Ooh, I love that yellow chair on the wall. And I love how you’ve used tonality to express it!
I can’t believe you got to go to the Comfy Cow! I haven’t been there yet and we’ve lived next door to Louisville most of my life! How wrong is that?!
Chairs on the wall? So. cool. I love the green bench in your first photo too.
Love your chair shots. You got two themes in one with that first one…green AND chairs. I think that’s my fave…I love green. Fun themes this week!
LOVED this week’s challenge! Having a choice was so much fun. I was all about chairs at first, but then starting seeing GREEN, and there was no looking back.
Love your shots, especially the park bench!
Psyched about next week’s assignment. Can’t tell you how much “You Capture” has added to my life. Thank you!

I love that you chose chair and I loved that your shots are so creative. I have some older chair shots that I simply love. Beautiful work. You’ll have to forgive me for partially burying my “green” shot in my post today. I unveiled my photo hunt photos and because there are so many, I didn’t want to overwhelm anyone with multiple posts. Turns out as I look back through them, I also see hand shots as well as others that would have qualified for green. I love these challenges so I’ll get on my shot for next week. I think I have an idea!
Love the chairs and like you, I thought it was nice to have an option this week.
I love the green bench in the first one, but the little rocker is precious.
I love that bench!
Steph
I loved the chair topic so much more than I expected. Great idea & great shots!

I’m loving that the bench is also GREEN!
And those old bentwood chairs are my favorite…
I love your chair pictures, I should have tried that one, my chairs looked bring to me though.
The chairs were fab…loved the uniqueness of them! Have to admit I went a little crazy with pictures this week…but it was fun!
I love how you can make the most mundane thing look like art. I guess that’s called creative. They’re all great pictures but my favorite is the last one because, believe it or not, we had chair like that when I was a kid. I KNOW.
The green bench is so pretty! And nice pic pf the chair hanging off the wall!

Love the worn benches at Brookfield! I took a similar shot of a bench at the Museum of Science and Industry but ended up going with the green theme instead. Chairs have such beautiful architecture though.

Thanks for hosting another great You Capture. I thought it was fun that you offered choices this week. And, looking forward to next week’s challenge – good one!
Loved the challenge. I have two posts, btw, I linked the first to my blog generally. Oops! SO I put a correct one up. Delete away (but just #124).
I love the wooden chair (the last one). They remind me of the coffee shop I used to study at during law school.
I loved this week’s challenge! I wanted to let you know that I linked to my blog generally (oops) which is why there are two posts. Delete away, but only #124.
