Every night, before bed, Noah tells me how he feels about his day.

Some days are fast and some days are slow.  He doesn’t like fast days because they’re just too fast, he likes his days to be more leisurely, apparently.

Yesterday, however, what with all of the grounding and all, was a slow day.

But for me, it was a good day.  We read, we did math, we played games, ran errands, registered for school, Anna, Noah and I picked up pizza and turned up the radio, we had ice cream cones because they let me take pictures of them for a photography workshop I’m taking…

At the end of the day, when the kids typically watch TV in their pjs before bed, we snuggled and talked about school.  I think I may ground them every day.

Not really.

But listen.  Yesterday, after I wrote my post and hit publish, the first comment came in with words of support and sisterhood and I instantly felt better.  And with each comment my heart turned happier and all of you made a big difference in my day.  This is why I have a blog.
