Hi friends. I hope you can’t see my headache from here, I’m trying to hide it but it’s getting tricky. It’s REALLY big.
Anyway, enough about me, how was your week? Did you have fun capturing things in your kitchen?
I had a busy few days catching up on laundry. My island is the perfect folding table. Eli likes to watch. Training starts early in this house.

and I was inspired by a recipe of Stephanie’s and created a fun dish with pasta, olive oil, chicken, lemon and peppers. It was delicious! Okay, it was a little dry but whatever. I’m no chef.

Now it’s your turn to share, but first! Read these important details:
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)
5. You MUST link back to You Capture in your post.
6. I encourage you to visit other participants and leave comments. This is a great way to meet new friends!

Get outside!
Yes, you can take photos of anything you want but make sure you do it outside! Try something new this week and HAVE FUN!

That is a good folding spot! And Eli’s little face – the cutest!! Hope your headache goes away pronto!
Love the vegies, I have a feeling this weeks entries are going to make me hungry!
He is so cute! Love the shot of your peppers!
Hope your headache goes away!
The pasta dish sounds yummy! I may ahve to try something like it.

I think he’ll be a great helper in a few years…until then he’s fun to watch as you fold!
Love the pepper shot.
Ugh so sorry you have a headache! I just got over mine I had for 6 days! I get bad migraines and hate them more than anything!!
Eli looks like he is really paying attention!!
One day I will join in You Capture but my camera fell from the table, we won’t mention any little boys names, but it has sucked at taking pictures ever since! I want the Rebel =)
Our kitchen is my favorite room in the house! Even though I want to replace the 1980s-era floors, counter tops, cabinets.
I really loved this week’s challenge.
And I love your shot of Eli!
Thanks, Beth!!
I love the colors in the vegetable/fruit shot. And I so wish we had a kitchen large enough to contain an island for cooking or laundry folding. Eli looks like he’s going to be a great helper in several years!
Eli in the kitchen with laundry looks like it could be an ad for “All American Life”
So so cute!
Eli is so adorable! He looks like he really wants to help, too.
I hope you feel better SOON!
Oh dear. I hope that headache goes away soon. Boo.
I love the colors and reality of your captures. Beautiful!
Ah, another use for the island! I’ll have to show this to my husband. I WANT AN ISLAND!
That’s an adorable little helper you’ve got there! I hope you feel better soon!
Ha! I can not avoid the kitchen this week! I have committed to less eating out, and more eating in….which means I am spending A LOT of time in the kitchen. Which sounds lame because most of my friends can achieve great things in the kitchen….so far this week, I have dried out 3 different chicken meals and made a VERY bland salad. Looking forward to capturing this….
I love Eli on the counter. I did that with Kieran on Monday. Love the Bumbo for this age.

ok i added the logo to my blog so that i can enter. i hope i did it right…still new to the next generation of blog sharing.
I love the peppers and lemon, yum!
I love how you combined the kitchen and laundry. Actually, I loved the theme this week.
The peppers and lemon don’t even look real! Hope you’re feeling better soon!!
Hi Beth – I enjoy your blog & photos a lot!
I wanted to share w/ you something I just discovered about h/a’s. After years of internists saying “let’s try this” or “stop doing that” and even with state of the art migraine medications, I saw a physician last week who is a neurologist and devotes her practice 100% to head pain and it was lifechanging! Don’t get me wrong; I adore my internist, but I’ve transferred all h/a care to this new physician.
Long story short (too late!) e-me if you want anymore info.
He makes laundry look like fun. =)

I *wish* I had enough room for an island! And, a cute baby decorating it.
It’s ok, I tried to serve my husband freezer burned stir fry vegetables the other night. He didn’t go for it. Not one bit.

Eli is soooooo cute! I wish my kitchen had an island. We bought a table that was countertop height so that helps with work space. . . Although the table is usually covered with junk so I’m not sure if it would work for folding laundry, lol.
Looking at all these photos of food this week has made me seriously hungry! lol
