Hi everyone.
If I could, I would put my laptop down and lay down on the couch, cover up and sleep all day long. Forget being a Mom, forget about food, forget responsibilities…just be one giant slug for ONE DAY. I am not feeling really well today so please pardon my lack of enthusiam and also (and mostly) please forgive my lack of creativity.
I took pictures last weekend of water coming off of a flower, it was really cool but than I hastily deleted the contents of my memory card before darting off for a session and didn’t realize this until this morning which left me with pretty much nothing. Luckily (and annoyingly), my daughter left her homework at home, so on my way back to the school, I grabbed my camera and took a few dull pictures of flowers but not really.
Because they’re weeds. BUT THEY’RE FLOWERS TODAY. got that? But look…there are WEEDS in the newspaper box. So, you know, it’s not completely dull. No it’s not. No.
don’t argue with me.

So, I hope you guys will revitalize this week’s You Capture after my lame attempt at creativity, I’m relying on you. Don’t let me down!
But FIRST, before you you go, please make sure you read these simple guidelines for You Capture!
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)
5. You MUST link back to You Capture in your post.
6. I encourage you to visit other participants and leave comments. This is a great way to meet new friends!
{more You Capture info can be found here.}

Togetherness.
Happy Capturing!

I’ll go with your creativity! I like it.
Those are totally FLOWERS! And I love your shot. Bummer about the others though. I HATE when I delete images – it gives me nightmares. I have issues, I know
Good luck with your slug day, we all need them every so often. So, just do the bare minimum and be as sluggy as you can!!
Those are totally flowers. And is there a newspaper behind the weeds in the newspaper box?
Hope you feel better soon.
Aww, too bad about deleting, but thanks so much for doing this even when you aren’t feeling great and things don’t work as planned! I really look forward to You Capture every week.
Those are wild FLOWERS. So they totally count. It’s sort of funny that there’s grass coming out of the newspaper box.
Move over please, I need to share that couch with you today. Hope we both feel better soon!
No arguing here! Hope you feel better. xo
I think flowers make the best photo subjects. I could photograph then all day long!

Those are totally flowers. People grow them here in Germany as flowers and they might be wild in that yard but some people actually purposely grow them. I swear I’m not making it up. We even have some in our yard. I just find them annoying because they take FOREVER to bloom!
If I could just reach through the computer and hug you, I would. Hang in there Beth!! This too shall pass! You’re my new hero
LOL! Ill go along with your flowers, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
This weeks You Capture was great chance for me to get back into my photography.
I live in Germany (my husband is US Army) and I had to go on a work errand in another city, the whole way I looked for interesting flower shot opportunity. And whats so awesomely funny is, when I got to my destination, which is about 45 mintues from where I live, I found a family owned german nursery. Got some great shots, it was hard to pick one. Hope you like my pic.

Ha…it seems like many of our neighbors don’t know the difference between weeds and flowers/grass. I wouldn’t worry too much!
The only difference between weeds and flowers is whether or not they are wanted where they are growing. It is a lovely photo.
You think it’s a lame attempt at creativity, I think it’s stunning.
those count as flowers for sure

Sorry to have been absent for a while. Back with some flowers ~ hope they make you feel just a little better ~ we all know how flowers are good for cheering a soul!!
Those definitely count as flowers, and I love that they are growing into the newspaper box. That’s pretty neat.
I’m all for sleeping an entire day away. Where can I sign up??
I had those ‘flowers’ in my flowerbed this year… I say “had” because we just pulled them out… this morning!!
Can I get in on sleeping all day?? *yawn*
I hope your day got better.
I hear ya on the wanting to sleep all day. Curling back up is bed sounds wonderful right now.

I have been trying all week to get some photos of flowers, but everything around here is dead sadly. I thought it might be kinda depressing to get photos of dead, wilted flowers….
Maybe I can find something alive tomorrow
