Well, hi there, friends! How are you? Did you have fun taking out your camera first thing in the morn? I did. The typical shots I would have ignored because of no coffee and eye boogers, well, I went after them and I’m pretty pleased that I did!
This is what my morning looks like now that school is back in session. I’m always up with Elijah because he thinks sleeping is dumb, Anna’s alarm clock goes off and she stumbles into my room and cuddles with me, Noah is one minute behind and I said “hi Mom” as he itches his bottom. He snuggles onto my other side and we lay there and chat about good and bad dreams and what day it is and well, now we marvel at Eli. I then get up and brush my teeth, put my contacts in and I come back and see this. It’s the best part of my day. {I think it’s their’s, too.}

This is my morning workstation on most days. See my painted chairs? I’m trying all sorts of new colors, it’s really fun.

(hey uh, forgive the blowouts, thanks.)
Yesterday morning at dark o’ clock, I was about to nurse Eli on my bed, I lifted my shades to a sky beginning to lighten. After twenty minutes, the sun peaked through and landed on my shoulders. It was really peaceful, almost heavenly. I laid Eli down in his crib and went downstairs to take a picture.
And make coffee.

*sigh* Mornings can be so magnificent.

Your mornings look so nice. I love the painted chairs, and the sunrise is so peaceful.
Great shots! I love the one with all three kiddos on the bed! Beautiful sunrise.
I love your painted chairs! So cute! But my favorite picture has to be your kiddos first thing in the morning. Great capture! Thanks so much for hosting this – I am having a ball and totally look forward to Thursdays!

Awe – I love cuddles in the morning!!!
Love your shots
That picture of all of them on the bed makes me so happy!
Just a thought for you – I don’t know if you’re still breastfeeding, but if you are, Eli may be getting your coffee in your breastmilk, which is keeping him up. I’ve breastfed both my babies, and every time I would drink coffee, they would have VERY awake periods within a day or so after I drank it… You can just ignore this if you like, but I just remembered that, reading your post!

Love the pic of the kids laying in the bed in the morning.
I absolutely love that first photo it is quite beautiful. I still cannot get to grips with taking good indoor photos in poor light so opted for an early morning walk instead for this week’s theme.
I love the painted chairs – why not go for a different color for each chair then weave all the colors into a simple design for the table top? Not that I could do something like that being totally lacking in craftwork skills!
Wow. Each and every one of your shots is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your mornings with us! I also appreciate the opportunity to see mine through different eyes.
That first pic just screams “sweet family” to me. You know, in a nice, soft morning way…
B has the same Superman pj pants. HA!
And LOVE the colored chairs. I’d like some like that in my house… Pretty!
Wow, that sunrise is gorgeous!
So sweet! That first shot is seriously just beautiful.
I love your kid pic best. My first link was broken. Sorry!
On your chairs, try sanding the final finish a bit so some of the under layer pokes through to roughen up the look. I did something similar and liked the rougher look so much better.

I know this is totally off the subject, but I LOVE your idea for painting the chairs! I may have to keep that in mind.

love that you little ones come to snuggle with you!
Oh I can’t wait for the day when Olivia comes wandering in for morning snuggles…
Although, taking her out of her crib to snuggle and nurse her in the morning is pretty wonderful, too.
I read this and started eyeballing my kitchen chairs. I love what you did. Did you paint them yourself? Can you come paint mine?
Also, love the picture of the three kids in bed. I’m so glad you have that time in the morning.
great pictures.
Love your captures! The snuggly bed one is my favorite.
I love having all my boys in bed with me in the AM as well. I love the different color chairs. I did that to my kitchen chairs and it just added such nice happiness to it.

How cozy with everybody in bed in the mornings! I love your last shot.
I definately don’t have time or patience to use a camera in the morning, but I wanted to comment on that third picture of yours. I can almost see the clouds rolling, it is awesome!!
I love your morning routine and the picture of the 3 kids chillin’ on the bed while they wait for you. They’re all such good babies.
And, I also love the sunrise picture. Really, really beautiful!
I love all of your photos. My favorite is the first one with the kids.
I’ve never been a morning person, but I think my favorite time of day is when my daughter climbs into bed and cuddles up to me first thing in the morning. She’s 4. I hope she doesn’t grow out of that for a very loooong time
I love the photo of your kids in bed – love these mornings!
Love the shot of your kids! The sunrise photo is beautiful.
