I will not talk about the weather, not how windy it is, how cloudy it is or how much fun it isn’t to drop your kids off at school to come home to a tornado warning.
Nope.
Not going to talk about it.

(but it is really windy.) (and dropping your kids off and coming home and your sirens going off is quite unsettling) (and also, THE WIND.)
Anyway.
I wanted to drop in and tell you guys that in two weeks I’m going to be doing mini-sessions in Louisville, so if you or someone you know lives in Kentucky, I’ll be in the area and would love to meet you! More information can be found here.
And if you’re in Michigan, in the Ann Arbor area, there is a REALLY cool photo walk scheduled, you can go here for more details.
and also, I posted here.
See you later. Don’t get blown away and drive safely. And eat a cupcake.

Hi Beth, I was hoping you were going to write that you were traveling to Ohio (namely, Toledo- close to where I live). I would love to meet you one day!
I know what you mean about the tornado warnings today- it is nerve-racking to be away from the kiddos during such a scary time.
A photowalk sounds like so much fun!
I was already at work when the sirens went off. The bus picked up my 5 year old for Kdg right before the sirens went off – I was a wreck. She still had 20 minutes of being on the bus before they arrived at school. I called the school, and called and called and called…and apparently when they are on “lockdown” they don’t take a phone with them
I felt much better though this afternoon when I picked her up. I asked her if she was scared this morning and she started laughing and said “No i was just actin’ crazy like what is going on and trying to make everyone laugh”. That’s my girl!
I’m in Wisconsin – the wind here has been TERRIBLE. We’ve had sustained 60 mph winds pretty much all day. As of right now, I don’t know where my trash cans and recycling bins are. LOL
Don’t ya love it? I hate that kind of weather in the early morning. We had a few tornado warnings here in TN but the folks up north man I couldn’t say enough prayers for them yesterday. I hope everyone made it out okay.
Oh this is exciting. I can’t wait to see who signs up. Also, I loved the clouds yesterday!
Steph
Yep, crazy winds. In fact, it’s STILL really windy here. It’s a sunny day for a change, but it’s so windy that I can’t hang my laundry outside – it would just blow away.
We didn’t have the tornado warnings where I am, but south of us, Windsor, Ontario area did.
Oh man, the wind! And shouldn’t you have saved that fabulous Autumn picture for tomorrow? I visited your post here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/event.php?eid=142604142424461 and I’m so glad I did. What a great post!
We’ve had snow days from school many times in Michigan, but this is the first time we ever had a “wind” day with the kids staying home because of a tornado watch. If you’ll excuse me, I must go get a cupcake.
It’s been crazy windy here, too! No tornados for us though. I love your sky photo – beautiful.
The weather has been crazy here in DC too! Also, I totally just made cupcakes for my baby’s class. She’ll be 7 Friday. Gotta taste test it!
