Good morning, friends. This is going to be a quick one.
Anna and Noah are home from school today and Brian was on vacation this week. So, if there was ever a week for Eli took get sick, I suppose this was a good one.
He’s still not back to his old cheerful self but he’s better. Oh and the crazy thing is that he’s getting all four top teeth, as we speak, so homeboy has it rough.
Today we are heading out to my sister’s house in Louisville. I have about 39 things to do within the next 2 hours and I’m sitting here updating you guys. Which I totally understand but uh, Brian does not.
So, to compromise, I’m going to use bullet points!
-On our way down to Kentucky, I will be listening to Mumford & Sons the entire way down and all the way back and probably the whole time we are there. If you haven’t listened to them…OHMYGOSH, what are you waiting for? They amaze me. They are the fire in my fireplace. The bop in my boppy. The pill in my pillow.
Okay, I’ll stop. I’m just looking around my living room trying to think of things. Oh wait…the WIN in my window! Yes! That’s a good one.
-I decided to draw winners for my giveaways on Sunday night or Monday. I really appreciate your patience.
-I have four sessions tomorrow – I can not wait. (Pray for good weather!)
-I love, love, love my new camera. It’s amazing. Next week I’ll do better taking pictures when I don’t have a sick baby.
-Eli dances. It’s so cute.
-Brian is giving me dirty looks because he knows in an hour I’ll be spazzing about packing and showering and cleaning before we leave at ten. He knows me so well.
Alright, that’s it. Listen. I know I’m not the best blogger in the world, I know I should be visiting blogs and emailing you guys and I try, I try really hard but I just do not have enough hours in the day. (I know you know what I’m talking about.) I just wanted to thank you for coming here every day or every other day or once a week and checking in on what’s going on with me and my family. That fact that you are here, right now? Means so much to me. Like, I hit the lottery.
So, thanks. And happy, happy, happy weekend to you.

Happy Weekend to you, too.
Enjoy your family and your camera and all the good things.
(By the way, you wanna take Ruby down to Louisville with you? She’s trying on a new Southern accent (no joke), and L-ville would give her a good chance to perfect it.)
I was wondering why you weren’t visiting my blog several times a day. Come to find out you are a busy mom! Who knew?! ;o)
Glad you are enjoying the camera… I can imagine it’s a dream to work with. Have a great weekend!
I’m glad Eli is feeling better. I am so excited that we are going to be on the next challenge team together. We are going to kick ass. How can we not with your mom there to inspire us? Have a wonderful weekend!
Baby dancing is SO cute. I would not be opposed to you posting a video of Eli dancing
Just sayin’. Have a great weekend!
Despite your busyness, I hope that you get some time for you!! It is important especially when you have a business and a family to take care of!!
I love your blog. Keep up the good work!
Have a great weekend! Will be praying for perfect weather for you!
Good luck on your photo shoots! I hope Eli is back to 100% soon, and I really hope no one else gets sick.
Have a safe trip and be sure to relax a bit while you’re there!!
Heres to great weather for your sessioins. Safe travels and hope you have a amazing weekend.
You’ve probably said and I missed it but what new camera did you get? Just curious…
Have a fabulous weekend and hope Eli feels even better!
I had to check out the Mumford and Sons website. Turns out they are nothing like Sanford and Son. Just thought I’d clear that up for anyone else out there who may be confused. You are welcome.
Mumford & Sons is indeed AWESOME. I’ve been listening to Little Lion Man like mad. I even named a chapter of the story I’ve been posting on my blog (Bus Ride to Bucharest) after it.
Have a fabulous weekend! Hope Eli gets better right quick!
Shut the front door! Mumford and Sons was here in Philly on Tuesday! Love them!!!! Have a fantastic weekend.
I’ve never heard of Mumford & Sons and I’ve been looking for new music to listen to- excited to check them out!! Have a great weekend! Can’t wait to see some of the pictures from your sessions.
Enjoy, Be Safe, God Bless!
Have a wonderful time, can’t wait to hear all about it. I hope the little man feels better soon. Take some time and just breathe! I think you do a fantastic job with your family and you should be a very proud mother. Speaking from a mother with 3 grown children, who the eldest is 3yrs and 4mths older than the youngest, they grow so quickly and I have to stop ask where on earth has the last 20 years gone. We had our kids young and I am really proud to say that they think of us more as friends, and my husband is so looking forward to being a grandparent to some kids other than the ones that have four legs and a tail.
Poor Eli. Hope he bounces back soon. Hang in there chick and enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for posting updates at all! I love reading them so I keep coming back whenever my reader shows a new post. But I understand busy too of course! But thanks for sharing your beautiful self, beautiful family, beautiful pictures & beautiful words with us when you can!
I love this busy post but not the part about Eli not feeling well and not while know that you don’t feel well either. I know your weekend went well and that your home and I’m looking forward to seeing the results of those photo shoots.
LOVE Mumford and Sons!
Mumford & Sons is pretty awesome. I also love Florence and The Machine and The xx.
