This giveaway is over! Winner announced this weekend!
Oh yes, my friends. This one is the grand finale and I can say from personal experience, as I’m staring at my sick little baby in his crib through my video monitor, that it’s also an awesome one.
We’ve been using the Philips Avent Digital Video Monitor since Eli was about 2 months old. This was not our first video monitor, it was our second. This one performs so much better than the first that it’s actually amazing that the other one costs almost the same as this Avent monitor.

I don’t even know where to begin when describing this product especially since right now I’d love to be in bed and I’m getting sick but oh, I must get this giveaway up because I love that one of you lucky people is going to get one of these for free.
So, let’s see…
The monitor is completely quiet unless it senses noise or movement. On the parental control, you can actually press a button for music to begin playing in the baby’s room. I actually love doing this because I see Eli look at the monitor like “WTF, camera?!” The picture is really clear and the camera itself moves around like crazy making it easy to get the shot you need. The ball magnetizes to the base, making it completely flexible.
Listen…IT’S AWESOME.
Oh and my friends at Philips AVENT just launched a new Growing Bump Facebook Application. The Growing Bump is a digital photo slideshow that lets you document your growing bump week-by-week. You can check out a sample by clicking here. It’s pretty cool.
This is a $220 value and one of you lucky kids is going to win it!
How does one enter to win?
1. Just leave a comment telling me what you looooove about Thanksgiving!
2. Do not say “PICK ME” because I would seriously blow up into a million little pieces if I hear that even one time.
3. Tweet, Facebook or blog about this giveaway and leave each individual link in the comments. Four ways to win!
PLEASE NOTE – Many comments go under moderation. If you do not see your comment show up immediately, IT’S OKAY. It will show up. Pinky swear.
Good luck!

Food! I love food, or maybe it’s because I’m pregnant
I wish my family got together over the Holiday but we are very spread out so I’ll stick with food.
I love Thanksgiving for many reasons but for one I get an all day, guilt free pass to eat anything and everything I can fit in my belly. I LOVE it!
I love waking up early on Thanksgiving morning, putting the turkey in the oven to roast, making muffins for breakfast with Hot Chocolate then cuddling with the boys in front of the TV to watch The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Of course after that the afternoon and evening are spent loving time with family and FOOD!
Family!! simply spending the day with family — no stress of presents, etc!
I love waking up and watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I love the excitement on my little boy’s face when he sees Santa at the end. The fantastic food and family just make it the best day!
I love everything about Thanksgiving, but especially the time with family.
I love that Thanksgiving is all about spending time with family and friends and there is nothing better than the smell of a turkey roasting in the oven while a fire blazes in the fireplace!
Thanks for the chance!
The food. Turkey and stuffing. Yum.
Getting to see all of my family and yes I mean all 75 of them. It is a blast!
Definitely the stuffing balls…..no really, I love that it has become my holiday! I love having all of my family over to eat and enjoy each other, and the stuffing balls
.
what an amazing product….
very cool.
thanksgiving~ the delicious food…the wonderful time with family.
the leftovers.
so good.
I love the smell of Thanksgiving…the fall candles burning, the smell of turkey and dressing, the smell of sweet treats waiting to be eaten. I also love the time spent with family and how the conversations usually include, “Remember when…” It’s a great day for reminiscing and counting blessings!
I have 2903483298479 pregnant friends and I would love to rock their baby shower’s with this monitor!!
As for thanksgiving– my favorite part is that it is the one secular holiday of the year, and since my family is all a mix a faiths, it is the one day we all enjoy and celebrate together without any awkwardness. Oh, and, I like food.
The best thing about Thanksgiving is my family. And mashed potatoes.

posted it on my blog
Being thankful for all the good things I have in my life. Sharing it with family. Remembering my own childhood memories of Thanksgiving.
What I love about Thanksgiving is that this year my husband’s school (he’s a teacher) is out for the entire week! So now not only do I get to cook and eat delicious turkey and dressing, and mashed potatoes and green beans, and dressing (you get the point, I really love the food), I get to hang out with my babies and honey ALL WEEK LONG!
So umm, yada yada family and what not. But really? FOOD. C’mon now, you know me, real mashed potatoes and pie and pie and pie?
Best. Day. Ever.
What do I love about Thanksgiving? Two things…one being looking at the Black Friday ads and another being pumpkin pie!

Lefse, hands down.
It is about the only thing I like about Thanksgiving food-wise. I’m not a turkey fan so I much prefer Christmas and Easter for their ham and cheesy potatoes!
But, all of my family and friends in one place, thinking about all of the blessings that surround us? That makes Thanksgiving pretty darn awesome.
The food. Oh, the food.

I love love love being able to spend time with family. It’s one of those special times that you can just chill, talk, laugh and reminisce and not feel like you have to do laundry, or clean the kitchen or make sure the vacuum has been run. You can just BE with family. I LOVE it!
I treasure Thanksgiving time with family–all the grandchildren and their parents around one table–special blessings this year with SuperTWINS, Van and Maggie, now 3 months old!
The best part about Thanksgiving for me is getting together with the family and sharing an amazing meal without the stress of buying gifts. This would be awesome for my 2 month old daughter =) thanks for the great giveaways!
I love that it’s the one holiday where we all get together, celebrate the whole day, and NOT exchange gifts. The holiday gifts from the grandparents are Crazy Overwhelming, but, thankfully, we’ve kept Thanksgiving sacred.
I love Thanksgiving because it is the one time a year I get to be with my entire family in the same day. We hop, skip and jump from place to place and probably indulge in too much food. But, my favorite part is my family.
Thanksgiving this year will be different as my little guy is 17 months so it will be alot busier than usual…
Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday. I love being with family, but I really LOVE the food, you know, the turkey, stuffing MASHED POTATOES. Oh, the pie too!
I am thankful for my husband, my three little girls, and the rest of our family.
i never win anything, but THIS is something i really really want to win. really. so i’m going to take a chance and actually enter.
best thing about thanksgiving? i should probably say spending time with family or decorating for christmas, but that would be a lie.
food.
i do love the other stuff, but dude. food.
Umm, all the food?? LOL
Eating the desserts and making all the food.
I always have to work Thanksgivign so my favorite part of it is when I come home and watch the parade. Yahhh!!!
Leftovers. Mmmm, turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce are my kryptonite.
The thing I love most about Thanksgiving is that it is all about the family – for us at least. There are no gifts to buy, no rush, no draging out tons of decorations…just family (and food)!
I love that I am one of only 3 people in our HUGE family that loves sweet potatoes, so I don’t have to share with very many people
Aside from the food (YUM!!!) and spending quality time with loved ones, I love going through all the Black Friday ads and planning our attack for the next day!!
besides the obvious (food and vacation day) i love that my husband can watch football with the boys and i can chat in the kitchen with the girls. usually with wine.
I love the fact that I have taken over most of the cooking for our family’s dinner. We still host it at my parents house, but I am the one who does the majority of the cooking. It gives me a sense of accomplishment (without having to clean my house for company first).
I looove getting to spend time with all my family members, I love being reminded of all that we have to be thankful of in such a huge way, and I seriously love mashed potatoes and jellied cranberry
I love making the meal!
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is a) capturing my yearly photo of my son in front of the TV as the Santa rides by in the Macy’s parade…I have one from every year so far. and b) Walnut Pie because, well, I like pie =)
What I love about Thanksgiving is the cozy. I can’t really explain it, but just that feeling that everyone is together – there is no agenda – and it’s warm and happy.
I looooooove stuffing. But my favorite part is taking the time to speak out loud what you’re thankful for. Love that.
Not to be hokey, but I really do love being with my family at Thanksgiving. Mike gets the whole week of Thanksgiving off this year, and I am thrilled. I am honest-to-goodness THRILLED!
This video monitor would be so awesome to keep an eye on Burke (who will be trying to crawl out of his crib any day now…)
Just tweeted about it too!
