Happy Thanksgiving to my Thanksgiving celebrating friends! I had intended to put You Capture up a day early but I wasn’t able to – so here I am, on Thanksgiving morning, doing You Capture!
You Capture will be the only time I post over the next few days, so it will remain at the top, so take your time taking photos and feel free to link up at any point throughout the weekend since Thanksgiving is all about the food we eat!
And giving thanks.
For the food we eat.
So, this week, I actually cooked and baked a lot. This time of year screams baking for me, it’s all I want to do.
Lucky for me I have the sweetest little sous-chef ever created. It used to drive me crazy how she always wanted to be all up in my business while I worked in my kitchen but now, she’s honestly helpful. She cracks the eggs and grabs the ground cloves and stirs and today she is making a tollhouse pie all by herself.
Anyway. Here she is peeling cucumbers. See? Don’t you wish you had an Anna?

And in case you’re wondering, this is what I have for lunch every single day of my life. A turkey sandwich with mustard and baked doritos.

And then, once again, I tackled Ree’s cinnamon rolls. So delicious. So simple and so so messy.
(but completely worth it. I’m eating one right now!)

I’m not going to post my settings because I woke up at nine today which was two hours later than I had planned and now I’m running two hours behind. Oops!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Now it’s your turn to share!
PLEASE READ THIS GUIDELINES, especially, yes, especially if you have never linked up!
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)
5. You MUST link back to You Capture in your post.
6. I encourage you to visit other participants and leave comments. This is a great way to meet new friends!
{more You Capture info can be found here.}

Kindred.
Happy Capturing, Friends!

SIGH. Cinnamon roll show off.
I love that Anna is your kitchen helper. Luke always wants to help in the kitchen and he’s getting better at it, but sometimes, he’s still just totally in the way. I’m glad to know that he can help for real in a few years.
Everyone is making those cinnamon rolls! Why have I not jumped on that bandwagon???
Happy Thanksgiving!!
She certainly does look like a great help. Hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
those are pretty awesome looking cinnamon rolls! happy thanksgiving.
Looks good! Happy Thanksgiving!
I made those this morning! Yum!
Love these!
I want to borrow Anna. Your lunch is my kind of lunch. What in the world did you do with all those cinnamon rolls? Your knuckles must be killing you.
Mmmmh, cinnamon rolls! I haven’t tried Ree’s recipe (which I’m sure is fabuous) but I hae one that you make the night before which is sooo good…Cinnabon quality and pretty easy since you do all the work ahead of time. I think it might even be done with the bread machine partially which I’m a big fan of.
Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I’m pretty late on linking up, but I had to recover from all the cooking and we did ours on Saturday so yesterday I was pretty much useless lol
I love your blog! I wont be doing the You Capture challenge this week for “kindred”, but I look forward to finding out what the next assignment is!
Oh my gosh did I count like 150 cinnamon rolls? Just how many people did you have over for Thanksgiving breakfast anyway?
