This was a tricky one, wasn’t it? Easy to answer but difficult to translate into a photo? In a perfect world, I would have taken photos of my favorite specialty shops, yards of beautiful simple & vintage fabric, my favorite colors, great decor, profound statements, amazing rooms…
but…
this week has been far from perfect. I have been ill every second since writing “what inspires you?” on last week’s You Capture post, my antibiotics are slooooowly working, I think, but I’m still just not right.
It’s interesting, though, that through this sinus/ear infection filled week, I have still taken so many photos of beautiful things. People, places, colors, love.
That inspires me. Taking these photos, it inspires me to my core.

F/2.8 | ISO 2000 | SS 1/30
The photo above was taken while approaching the Kentucky state line on Interstate 65. Everything about this photo amazes me. It’s so everyday but so not.

F/2.8 | ISO 250 | SS 1/640

F/3.2 | ISO 500 | SS 1/160

F/2.8 | ISO 400 | SS 1/1600

Oh I’m sorry you’re still not feeling well! But I love the photo from the interstate and the barn is super lovely too. Also, can I just say? I’m VERY excited for next week’s challenge! YUM.
Great shots!!! The first one is amazing
Oh, I love your shots! Especially that last one. I’m really hoping to get some good belly shots later in my pregnancy. You are so talented, lady!
Enjoyed this week’s challenge. Forced me out of my comfort zone. So, thanks.
Thank-you Beth for letting my heart speak the inspirations in pictures.
Love your images. Just beautiful.
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos, Beth! YOU are inspirational.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS photos, everyone of them!! YOU inspire me!
Lovely photos, my favorite is the water tower shot, you take wonderful night time photos.
Yes, it is easy to articulate what inspires but much harder to then photograph I agree.
Beautiful barn! I loved this weeks challenge, it inspired some good thoughts!
Beautiful! Also a quick question…is next week’s you capture still going to be on Thursday (Thanksgiving)? Just wondering, as it seems like this challenge would be better suited to doing the day after Thanksgiving – on Friday – and give you the holiday off from putting up the blog post so that you can enjoy the day with your family. Thanks again!
You are SO. CRAZY. talented.
Your new camera is awesome, all of those shots just look great.
Next week’s challenge sounds like it could get dangerous lol
That baby belly is inspiring… I wish I lived where you could take pictures of my belly, and the baby that will be coming out of it:-)
Every time I see a picture of your sister, i just think that she is so breathtakingly beautiful… Thanks for sharing.
Love all the people and how the shots turned out. So beautiful!
Beautiful captures as always! Love 2, 3 & 5.
You thought of so many additional things that inspire me about life…always so interesting to see how everyone interprets the challenges.
And as I told you last week, you are part of my post for inspiration.
Unfortunately next week my Thanksgiving dinner won’t be until Saturday…but it’s my daughter’s second birthday on Thursday so we’ll see what I dream up for her
Sorry your STILL sick. No fun! You’re pictures are beautiful. I haven’t posted and linked today…because I’m stuck on this one. Which is really causing me to do some deep thinking and pondering so thanks….for inspiring me to think
great photos…but it seems that is what I say to all of your pictures.
I love all of the pictures for different reasons. The lighting is great in all of them. I hope you are feeling better.
It inspires me that you still took fabulous pictures while sick.
Hope you’re feeling better today.
I LOVE your KY I-65 shot. Your description was right. So ordinary yet so unique. Love it!
Your sister looks so tiny! And I love that belly shot. It’s so joyous.
Luch beautiful pictures! I LOVE taking pictures, but I’m terrible at it. I have no eye for it at all. And when I try to edit them – disaster.
I tried to do my own maternity photos. The results left much to be desired.
Love your blog! Glad to have found it through Outtajo.
I love all these beautiful photos but that water tower? Oh my gosh, is breathtaking!
Beth- you must know this already, but you have an amazing gift. You are incredibly talented when it comes to capturing those moments in life on camera that we all wish we could remember. And not only that, but you can also translate moments to words.
Don’t ever, ever give up on your amazing talent. PS, if you are ever in the Phoenix metro area, puhlease give me a call because I totally need you to follow my children around with a camera for the day. I will pay big bucks…
