Happy Holidays, everyone!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for coming by each week. I’ve really grown to love and appreciate You Capture which is simply because of all of you. YOU make it magical for me. There are a lot of new photography memes sprouting up in blog land, I encourage you to participate in as many as you want! You can never take too many photos. (but I appreciate you participating in mine, so very, very much.)
I found my magic in the everyday. My two precious sons sharing their morning together, Noah teaching Eli about Christmas.

Children do simple, unrehearsed things, they do what their will tells them to and it’s magic. Adults, we shop, stay up late, bake, cook, stress, argue, plan…when the magic is right in front of you, between your family, in your living room, existing always.
Our home.

My mom and my daughter, making my Grandma’s recipe. This was magical for all of us. (especially knowing my Grandma was there in spirit.)

and a made up recipe (butterscotch, chocolate chips, m & m’s, etc…) shared in one of my favorite bowls. Sticky fingers, powdery lips, full tummies.

The ordinary turned magical.
And lights! So many lights! Sunday night we made hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. We then chopped up mint chocolate Hershey Kisses and sprinkled those on top of the whipped cream. We headed out into the cold to look at the area’s lights.

Now it’s your turn to share!
PLEASE READ THIS GUIDELINES, especially, yes, especially if you have never linked up!

Happy Capturing and Merry, Merry Christmas!

Great shots! Have a Merry Christmas
Such beautiful magic! Have a lovely, lovely holiday!!
I am eating a bowl of the butterscotch deliciousness right now. No beautiful bokeh in the background, unfortunately, but SO good.
Love the photo of Noah and Eli
beautiful photos ! merry christmas!!
Love that baking picture! What a special moment to capture!
All of your photos are wonderful and what the holidays are really about, togetherness. But that hot chocolate you described certainly sounds VERY magical!
And Thank YOU Beth, for hosting You Capture every week and inspiring us to take more photos! Have a wonderful Christmas my friend!
The picture of your Mom and daughter baking is my favorite. After reading they were making your grandma’s recipe (and knowing you were there to participate) got me all teary-eyed. I am such a SAP. And I love your bowl/bokeh shot. Good job with the holiday lights in that last one, too.
Oh yeah, thank YOU for doing You Capture for all of us. You are one busy woman! Happy Holidays!
I love your shots, but I always do!
My absolute favorite is the candy bowl in front of the tree, I just love the colors. I am also a huge sucker for tree bokeh.
I will be participating this week, but won’t be able to get mine posted until tomorrow, most likely. I have lots of good shots picked out though just for this topic.
Thank you so much for doing You Capture! I hope to be able to really participate more this coming year. Merry Christmas!
I forgot to say something else… I love how good Noah is with Eli. It’s so much fun sharing your family. Your Mom has become one of my favorite bloggers, too.
I love the sticky fingers photo with the lights behind it. Good boca.
Lovely pictures! Christmas always is magical!
Beautiful bowl and gorgeous bokeh on the same shot.
Your Christmas magic captured in pixels is truly warming and priceless.
Merry Christmas, Beth!
Wow! Where do I begin? I love all the pictures so much. I even love that you took and posted the one where Anna and I were baking! Your light shot is stellar! How do you do that? And how do you make a bowl of snacks look so festive and beautiful? You really are gifted!
I love this time of year, your photos are fab.
Merry Christmas!
Awesome, magical pics! Such cheery photos.
Merry Christmas Beth. You really inspire me with your beautiful photography. Hope you have the most magical Christmas ever.
