Good morning, friends.
I’m drinking coffee, writing on Brian’s laptop. Brian is on a work call, he’s working from home because his car is in the shop. Yesterday, Brian and I ordered a new computer specifically for Beth Fletcher Photography, I don’t think I could be more excited about this development, not just because it’s an incredible new iMac but also, A WORK COMPUTER and also, my husband really believes in me and supports Beth Fletcher Photography and wow, what a difference that makes in my life.
I’m a lucky girl.
Now I’m in search of a desk and a chair that will fit in a very snug space so my mind is racing, I keep searching at West Elm, Pottery Barn and Craigslist. Since Brian is home, I’m going to hit up some of the resale stores in my area, but for the interim, I have no problem propping the new computer up on a folding table because I’m fancy.
In other news…
Eli grew up.
He’s this giant baby with a giant appetite and a giant crawl. He crawls all over the place and gets into things and also I forgot how hard and tiring it was to chase around a baby. He literally gets into everything. It’s fascinating to watch, you know, when you have time to sit and watch him but I don’t often have that time so mostly his new baby interests keep me from completing the simplest of tasks.
Right now, he’s in a bouncer watching a Baby Einstein video for the first time in days which means this is the first time in days that I’ve relaxed with him around.
Occasionally, Eli turns, looks at me, bounces and smiles and my heart does a giant cartwheel. I’m really enjoying life these days.
