I’m sitting on my sister’s couch. Eli is napping, I have my Macbook, my coffee and I just finished some pop tarts. I also just introduced my sister to Amalah. We are reading this post and laughing SO hard at the art work. That Amy, she’s a piece of work.
Our travels yesterday were pretty smooth, aside from some poor service with our rental car but beyond that, I am thankful beyond thankful for the safe and on-time flight. Eli loved the airport and the plane. All day he was a dream.
And then night fell, I went to bed extra late (I watched Jersey Shore for my first time ever!), woke up 40 minutes later with heartburn, thanks to late night nachos (with no medicine). Then Eli woke up 97 times over the next five hours. So, right now? I am sleep deprived, so very sleep deprived but completely happy to be here.
Back in Indiana, Brian is working from home, both Anna and Noah are sick, I hope they have the best, most relaxing weekend, EVER. And I do secretly hope that Brian dusts and vacuums while I’m away but something tells me he will. I think.
No. He will.
You guys. My brain is dead. I should leave you before I bore you to tears. You’re welcome.
(I love you. Have a great, great weekend.)
and thank you for the prayers for this weekend. I can feel them. Muchly.
