Doesn’t he seem extra happy? Maybe it was the nonstop attention, or how much he loved swimming in the pool. Perhaps it was the plentiful sunshine, the warmth…or maybe it’s that he’s been hiding some extra big news and he finally gets to share with you.
Like, coming this October, he’s going to be a big brother to this little boy or girl!

Beth, I’ve been reading your blog for, I think, over 2 years now. Though we don’t know each other so well, I feel like I’ve been witness to the great changes your family has gone through these past couple of years. When I started reading, you were going through some of the hardest times dealing with the loss (Should I say loss? I know how close you keep them to your hearts and lives.) of James and Jake. To see that unfold and blossom into the birth and growth of Eli has, in itself been a beautiful process to watch….And now this happy news? I can only tell you that this makes me happy, happy, happy for you and your family.
