I was thinking yesterday that I wish I could choose “pretty” as our theme every week. It took me a second to realize that I tend to capture “the pretty” that surrounds me whenever I get the chance. Perhaps this is why this week seemed so effortless to me. My only regret was not taking more photos. Fortunately, there’s pretty surrounding us all the time.
Aren’t we all the lucky ones?
I decided to focus on my front porch. Brian and I have gone on one or two or four separate trips for flowers. This is very sweet to me because I used to do this by myself, assuming he wouldn’t be interested. Come to find out, he likes watching me pick out the flowers, he enjoys watching my happiness. I love that. (and he never gets annoyed either.)
(okay, maybe once or twice at the cash register, but that’s it.)
So, we spent a few hours working outside, I don’t have a photo of the finished project quite yet, but I do have photos of flowers. (by the way, my porch re-do is that not that big of a deal, so when I do show you, it’s likely you’ll think “that’s it?” I’m okay with that.)
Here are three pretty photos for you.

My favorite is the last one. I love working with that soft amber glow provided by the sunset. Be ready, soon we are going to have a “sunset” You Capture. (I can’t wait!)
Now it’s your turn to share!
PLEASE READ THIS GUIDELINES, especially, yes, especially if you have never linked up!
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)

For some reason the links from last week are showing up…
It’s all good now! The light in that last photo is amazing.
‘m hoping to get the rest of my flowers out this weekend—it’s been such wild weather lately here where we live that I’m a little afraid to!
Lovely flowers!
Beautiful shots as always. Love the 2nd and 3rd ones!
Hooray for Summer!
We just put out some plants and a few flowers this past weekend also — plus put a lot of seeds in the ground which will hopefully be something lovely to look at and eat soon too
oh yes, that last one is the prettiest of them ALL! great job, beth!!
I love pretty potted flowers. If only I could keep them alive!
So pretty! I love the depth of your photos!
Beautiful picture Beth! I decided to capture flowers this week too
I love seeing all the flowers bloom in the springtime!
Kinda cheating and posting something from last week, but I couldn’t pass it up. Love that last photo. Gorgeous!
Love that last shot.
I love the pot that says “welcome”! Did you put chalkboard paint on it yourself or did it come like that? Such a fun idea!
I love the lighting from the sun like that too. Amazing.
And I said the same in my post. So happy to have “pretty” in my life every day.
I love the last photo. Very PRETTY indeed.
This is my first time participating and I’m already kinda cheating. I took my photo days ago, but I couldn’t pass up posting it.
And I love that last shot. The amber glow is awesome.
SO GORGEOUS! i love your flowers.
Bit late linking up this week. I love that soft amber glow too …. that warm light is just so beautiful…truly the best time of day for taking a photo.
I am late but here! I love all of the photos for this week’s pretty challenge, though I like the angle and light on the second and third ones best. Love the new site design too! Gorgeous!
Lovely flowers!!!
PS. Sorry, I had wrong URL in number 85 so you can remove it.
