I hope you all had a game-filled week. We most certainly did, of course, we had some pretty nasty weather but then suddenly, the sun broke through on Monday morning and she’s made her appearance known every day since. Thanks, Sun!
We took Anna and Noah to their first Cubs game on Saturday. It was a great game to see because we didn’t mind standing in line for nachos and bathrooms seeing as how they lost 10-0. Poor Cubs.

On Monday morning, I made pancakes while my boys played cars. It was definitely one of my favorite moments. Also my favorite? The way depth of field hides the messy background.

Brian introduced the slide to Eli. This is where we figure out that Eli is much like his sister in that he loves adventure. Brian would let go of him at the top and catch him at the bottom and while he was sliding down, he’d laugh hysterically. It was awesome.

We’d move on to something else but eventually he went back to the slide to wait for his favorite game to begin.

Here’s Eli’s big sister playing a game with him. He would swing and she’d pretend as if he was hitting her. They both had so much. (but not as much fun as Mom watching.)

And lastly, this is something we see nightly, Noah playing games with his best neighbor friend. They’ll put baseball mitts on and play catch for an hour with not one of them catching the ball one time. I love that they’re just having fun.

Now it’s your turn to share!

I love the pictures of Eli sliding! He looks like such a big boy!

YAY! It looks so cute here ;D Love the new layout and congrats on the baby girl!! (Clearly, I need to visit more often… I am a bit behind!)
And I love your photos this week. I love the ones of Eli on the slide. My little guy has that same shirt and I make him wear it ALL the time! It makes me so happy.
HUGS!
all your kiddos are GORGEOUS!!
Love that pic of the baseball game. Such a piece of Americana and it just screams Summer too. I have slide pics too! Who knew there were so many “games” for the slide!
I love these shots. And now I want nachos. Also, the blue shorts that Eli has? Tommy has those same shorts, only in red. Whenever he wears them, he’s so stupid cute that I want to kick him.
I can’t even put into words how much I love the picture of Noah and Eli playing together, I want to push them down. It made me laugh out loud to see the picture of Eli laughing so hard as he is going down the slide!! So cute!!! Also, I love the movement in Anna’s cute haircut, great shot!!!
Love the pics! The one of Eli going down the slide is so cute! What a face! And also, an oopsie. I linked up at #26 wrong. It links back to the wrong place. I re-linked at #28 correctly. Feel free to delete #26 if you’d like, labeled When You Wish Upon A Star. Thanks! Happy Thursday!
Love the photos, all of them! By the way, Eli’s pajamas are adorable and I love the My Mom Rocks tee and your daughter’s camera tee. Where’d you find these? So cute!
Love the slide pictures!! So absolutely adorable!
I love the Cubs. I am so jealous, even if they did lose.
Awesome photos. I can’t believe how much Eli and Nate look alike! We’ve got some cute kids
All your pictures are fabulous of course but my favorite has to be the first one of Eli on the slide. It’s fabulous!
So, I think I misread and posted flower pictures to the game week. Sorry! I will get it right next time. Found your blog today and I LOVE this idea. Do we know what is coming up so we can begin searching for photo ops?
I just found your site today…and I am having a few technical difficulties. I thought I posted a comment and I do not see it now.
First, I LOVE your blog and this ideas. I think I made a mistake though and posted flowers, and it looks like maybe this week is games??
Sorry, will do better next time.
Beth, I am so far behind on your blog! Congrats on the baby girl! Your pictures are wonderful. I love it when the older siblings are able to play with the youngest. Does my heart good to watch mine play together. Please tell me where you got those monkey pj’s for Eli. They are so adorable, I need to have some for my kiddos!
