Hi friends. I am so sorry to be coming at you so late with this week’s theme, but here we are, together, at last!
I am CERTAIN you had a good time capturing happiness this week, right? I mean, it’s happiness. It’s like saying “take pictures of a sleeping newborn” or “take a photo of you eating a hot fudge sundae.” How could that not be enjoyable?
Crazy week but fortunately, I had my camera handy a few times.
My two boys, playing Wii together. (Noah actually tries to teach Eli how to play the Wii. Eli is 16 months old. Noah has more patience in his little finger than I have ever had in my entire life.)

Eli has learned to approach his big bro and sister for book reading. It makes them feel very special and makes Mama feel all happy and squishy inside.

Yesterday, I had a cake smashing session. It made me so happy to be there, doing what I love and mostly smelling that sweet, luscious frosting being blown around in the air. I miss that smell.

And ugh. This photo is the epitome of happy. This is Sara Joy and her son Van (she’s the proud Mama to twins), Anna was holding her baby girl at this point. Sara came to visit us Tuesday night. It was such a happy treat.

Now it’s your turn to share!
But first!

I really, really wish you could have seen it, Steph. She crawled right up to him, into his lap and they hugged and she grinned. She ADORES him. It was ridiculous. I DIED.
