Friday Morning Coffee

September 23rd, 2011

Good morning, my friends.

I actually just finished eating a bowl of grapes and bananas. It was SO GOOD. I have a love affair with red grapes, they can’t be the least bit soft, I want them crunchy and not too sweet. Right now, they are perfect, I love them.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant. The baby will be born during my 38th week.

My body is tired. I’m crampy and pretty much grouchy 55% of the time.

I’m still attending physical therapy.

I still can’t pick Eli up.

Next week Eli turns 18 months old.

helper

He’s giant and fun and really feisty and a super good helper. He’s extra cute and sometimes just likes to snuggle with Mama but mostly likes to play cars and do laundry.

In a few minutes, I’m leaving for a pedicure and a necessary *ahem* waxing on a region that I haven’t seen in a very, very, very long time.

The baby’s room is so close to being finished that some people would consider it finished but I do not.

I’m still scared out of my mind that something bad is going to happen to this pregnancy.

I’m not scared to have four kids.

I am scared to see how Eli reacts to this new baby taking up his attention.

But right now? I’m mostly scared about the upcoming waxing.

Happy Friday, friends.

I can’t wait to see pics of the new baby! I feel like I know you even if it is only through the bloggie world. Congrats and will be praying for you for a safe and speedy delivery. : )

On the other matter…can’t imagine having that region waxed…I would be nervous also! Have you done it before? It it really painful? I am not sure I could do it. :)

Anyway, looking forward to hearing all about the new baby.

oh i can’t wait to see this little baby!! your other kiddos are just so danged cute.

you are so smart to get waxed. with my first, i couldn’t reach it to shave, so i just let it go, much to my dismay. i hated not shaving. anyhow, i was pushing, and a nurse walked into the room and said, “look at all that hair!” i burst out in tears and told her that i couldn’t reach to shave it. apparently she was talking about the baby’s hair. but i was mortified and made sure everything was at least trimmed with the other 3. :)

oh no! Friends don’t let friends wax the region while pregnant. I did it once and almost died. STOOOOOOOOOP!

On a lighter note, can’t wait to hear the good baby news!

Hi Beth! You’ll be fine with 4 children! My last two were 15 months apart. It was busy and crazy at times but it went by in a flash! They are now 11 & 12! Can’t wait to see your little girl!

And good luck with the waxing…is it too early for the epidural!!

I’ve been eating tons of those grapes…yum. You’re almost there! I think about you and pray for you often :) She will be here before you know it. I’m 39 weeks as of yesterday and going in for scheduled induction on Monday because they did an ultrasound at my last appointment and said he’s TEN POUNDS! So I’m a little nervous to say the least…my daughter was 7lbs 10oz, so a baby potentially this big is a surprise to me. I may have a c-section in my future…I don’t care either way I just want him to be ok and I can’t wait to hold him :)

I know what you mean about the red grapes. When I was pregant, I had a craving for red grapes, oreos and almonds. At least your red grape and banana love affair is a bit more healthy :)

I hear you on the “crunchy red grapes” they have to be one of my top fav’s for fruit snacking :) I am so excited for you and your family. I can’t wait to hear all about it and see pics of your precious baby girl. I pray you have a fast and easy delivery. Enjoy this last week of baby wiggles inside if you can before she is wiggling in your arms and smelling so sweet. Wishing you all the best.
