Hi everyone!
I wish I could express to you how sorry I am that I’m getting this up so late but I promise you, every last moment of my day has been taken up with something. Right now, Anna and Noah are outside playing, Eli and Clara are sleeping and my photos are ready. It’s You Capture time!
I’d love to be gutsy enough to paint a door this color, or ANY color for that matter. But, I’m not. (okay, maybe not this particular color but a bright color!)
This next door is much more muted in a cute mint green. I love that you can see me doing a drive-by shot. I swear people must think I’m a psycho sometimes.
Now, it’s your turn to share!
PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES, especially, yes, especially if you have never linked up!
1. Anyone can join in on the challenge at anytime.
2. Please make sure the photos you use were taken for the challenge, meaning do not search your archives for an appropriate photo. The goal of You Capture is to get you out taking photos each week!
3. Use YOUR photos.
4. When linking up, only link to your You Capture blog post, not your main blog URL. (incorrect links will be deleted.)
5. You MUST link back to You Capture in your post. (please do this! don’t link up to promote your blog or even to promote your own photo challenge, k?!)
6. I encourage you to visit other participants and leave comments. This is a great way to meet new friends!
{more You Capture info can be found here.}
Peach (this can be the color peach OR the fruit!)
Happy Capturing!

love the bright colored door also, the most i ever did was paint mine green…
doors show the character of the house before you even step inside. love your captures!
Love the drive-by shot. I’m pretty sure people thought I was crazy when I did drive-by shots of mailboxes in an old post of mine: http://www.adventuresasasmalltownmom.com/2011/02/small-town-photos-mailboxes.html
I’ve always really, really loved doors and doorways – that’s kind of weird isn’t it? Anyway, these are both really cool door shots. I love those giant numbers. I do wonder what people think of me when I take photos of random stuff.
What a fun door! I am amazed at that bright combination.
I love that I can see your reflection in that glass door Beth!!!
I’m working ever so diligently to slowly work out of my comfort zone and get brave enough to take photo’s in public. This was a nice stepping stone.
I really want to join this project, but I do not know how to link up. I am on Blogger and I cannot figure out how to add a button to my post. Can you help me?
Hey Beth- I did do You Capture for Doors but the site was down and I couldn’t get linked before Linky was up. Just wanted to share since I enjoyed this prompt: http://godansker.com/2012/02/28/you-capture-doors/
