It’s impossible for me to begin this post without talking about Clara because she turns ONE today! I can hardly believe it. I want to say more about what a sweet, beautiful girl she is but I’ll save that for a post about her first birthday! (but she really is a sweet and beautiful girl, we are so lucky.)
Anyway, she is definitely something I love. (poor little love isn’t feel well today and is of course, experiencing her first fever on her first birthday. BOOOOO!)
I also love Eli’s eyes. They’re my favorite. Sometimes when he’s sitting on my lap, facing me, talking to me about popsicles, scooters (he’s wicked good at riding scooters and he’s only two) and doggies I just stare at his eyes and can’t even focus on his words. So, I’ll ask him to repeat himself and he does but then I get lost in his eyes again. It’s not much fun for him but it’s totally fun for his Mama.
Last night I had a session at my client’s home. It was an amazing home, beautifully decorated. One of the things I loved specifically was that she used barn doors to open up to the bedroom. (she found the doors and her floors on Craiglist.) I’m thinking I need to go back and photograph her whole home to share with you guys. She actually owns a home store here in Northwest Indiana, you can see why. She has an amazing eye.
Here’s a shot of the doors open:
I definitely LOVED these doors
and last but not least, I love LOVE my iPhone case. I bought it back in May from Society 6 it has served me well until I dropped it on the garage floor and it cracked the screen (just up top, it’s not all that noticeable) Anyway, I’m realizing that this type of case is not necessarily the best protector so I think I need to find another one with a bit more padding since I drop my phone at least 319 times a week.
Either way, I love my case. (and the website where I purchased it, it’s one of my favorites, but beware, if you go there, you’ll get lost for hours!)
That’s it for me, now it’s your turn to share!

Happy Capturing!

I love your iPhone case too! But I know what you mean about dropping it!
Happy Birthday to sweet Clara. I hope she feels better before the day is done!
xo
I almost posted one of my son’s eyes – because his eyes are fascinating too!
Children – amazingly a huge part of my heart!
Beautiful pictures!
And those doors are fascinating and GORGEOUS!
Those iphone cases, I’m only at page 12 and already have too many i like. I also recently switched cases, this time for a sturdy one because i also drop my phone too often.
I love the pictures of things you love – especially the first two because I love them too. Seriously though, you’re pictures are beautiful. You even make barn doors look like art!
Gorgeous pictures as always
Happy Birthday to your sweet little girlie! WoW ~ did that year go fast! Hope she is feeling loads better tomorrow
