Lots of firsts today.
-my first Friday Morning Coffee since Elijah was born.
-my first Friday Morning Coffee with my new design.
-my first time doing Friday Morning Coffee without eating breakfast first, specifically some form of chocolate cereal. (I am blaming the newborn for this.)
So, instead of an empty cereal bowl sitting next to me, I have Elijah, lying comfortably by my leg on the couch. I’m unbelievably tired but actually got more sleep last night then I have in awhile. And that’s not because Eli slept well, it’s because Brian took Eli off of my boob and whisked him downstairs with him while I slept. (Mama was exhausted and crying. FOR HOURS.)
As soon as I typed that last paragraph, he woke up. He just finished nursing.
Anyway, I just stopped in to say don’t you love my new design? I know it may seem weird that I design blogs but still hired Nicole to do mine but I just can’t design for myself. So, I called on Nicole (who is a wordpress genius) and she was so great to work with. I totally recommend her.
Eli really likes this design.
And also? Having a newborn is a million times more difficult than what I remember. So, bear with me.
